Actually it was Rob Lowe as ‘Sodapop Curtis’ in the movie The Outsiders, which was shot in Tulsa, not Gettysburg. And set in 1965, not 1863.

Let's remember that the domestic budget for social services gets cut because that's welfare, while military contracts that fund a very few companies controlled by wealthy companies is patriotism. They'll talk about the jobs in the communities where these companies and the domestic military bases are, but they actually only employ a relatively small amount of workers. And when the military is done with soldiers they renege on their promises of medical care, rehabilitation, retraining etc. Tories love a large supply of cheap disposable labour.

I'm so psyched to see Josh Johnson on this show. He's so perfect for it
We're lucky to have this guy back. Sometimes I can't believe the things he says out loud, I feel like I'm watching Mr. Robot for the first time. I hope more people start recognizing how valuable this kind of commentary is. One thing I have to say, though, is that people on "the other side" aren't going to sit through this, it's too "whimsical" and celebratory. It's too bad because it's insightful and it could change some people's minds.

No. Sixth graders today have a bit more sense than that idiot. They would at least know how to use Google or an AI platform to do the report. This is why he needs some index cards. But, I’ll bet he has never utilized index cards, even in school.

he didnt, with one word, mention that irans drone strikes were a response to an illegal strike of iranian embassy territory in damascus by israel. any country that wants to be taken seriously has to respond to something like that. their drone strike was announced 3 days in advance and exclusively aimed at military targets even cnn is reporting that irans move is exclusively a response to israel

I did a book report in High School (@ 1981) on "The Trail of the Fox", a biography on Erwin Rommel. I never read the book. I got an A. But unlike trump, I knew my stuff.

Man Jon came back like he never left. Just like when I was a kid, I'll laugh throughout his monologue, completely skip over the correspondents to spare myself a shudder or two, and stick around for the end depending on who the guest is. The classic format.
