Sadly in western Europe our governments are still on the same wavelength. Some act like true vassals of the US. There's also the strengthening position of far-right and authoritarianism, which makes Bibi a figure to be aligned with. It's not like Hamas aren't authoritarian and far-right too, and it's not like Bibi sponsored Hamas bc it legitimized his policy. Hamas is an excellent antagonistic figure, hence why the "Palestinian = Hamas" trope, that makes everything so much simpler. "Forget about empathy or international law, these are the bad guys." They may or may not choose to rebrand themselves to be more inclusive, but honestly, they don’t have the long history of abuse that the former Boy Scouts do, so the name change isn’t as needed in that way. I doubt the leadership of the Girl Scouts would want to combine with the other group, either. There is room for multiple such organizations, IMO (Former GS and GS troop co-leader.)

If they run it at full until the audience can't see the cast at all then turn it off and let all the fog dissipate so the audience can see the hatch and ladder, it doesn't work so well. In practice they still are, Girl Scouts is a separate organization and just because girls /can/ join what was the boy scouts doesn't mean the local troops necessarily welcome them.

When Jon committed tax fraud, that's when I knew I loved him.

I was a cub-scout, a boy scout, and gave merit badges to eagle scouts, I could not be happier about the direction scouting has gone. Oh, and thanks to encouraging me to learn about my religion, I was able to transition to atheism, and I'm so much happier because of it. Read your Bible, kids!

FYI, the regulation comes from doctors and scientists that found that children with asthma that are in a home with a gas stove and improper air ventilation, are at a health hazard risk. For all the crying about protecting children that the republican conservatives do, they sure hate doing anything to protect children.
