Ngannou is more than just power, as they say, mythical fighter "Patient Ngannou," I don't think JBJ can just pick him apart. Different weight class, different kind of animal. Jon has an incredible chin, second most absorbed significant head strikes, but we all know that "0" in knock downs and KOs will go when Ngannou puts him on the floor. I'd put money on Francis.

The biggest problem i see is just the fact jon jones spams oblique kicks, no other fighter utilizes the amount of those kicks as much as jon jones, that is a problem for any heavyweight as the heavier you are the easier you can get injured in your knees

Never bet against Jon Jones

I think JBJ is committing a mistake. Ngannou has a way bigger frame (thicker skeleton). Jon has mostly fought small guys and his only near loss was against 196 cm Gus in 2013. Jon and Francis are the same height, Jon has a slight reach advantage.

@@emiliocian8337 Respectfully, I don't think you have been paying attention to the HW division, Cyril Gane is a heavyweight that moves like a LHW, Stipe Miocic is highly skilled both in boxing and wrestling, and Francis Ngannou now has a little wrestling knowledge coupled with his speed and power and these are just a few contenders. Jon Jones will find that division to be a different beast altogether and don't forget that the weight he has added will probably slow him down a bit so he might not be as fast as he used to be and he might also not have the same reach advantage he once had with the light heavyweight contenders.

Ok , Cyril I think he is amazing a new wave in the HW for sure, future champ. Miocic has dominated that division from long time, but I fell is done. Ngannou is a beast but he has no skills. Jon Jones is born for be the one. Is naturally gifted , and with the determination he will take the belt

francis got the punchers chance, everything else jones would kill him. Clinch, Elbows, Grappling, Counters and so on, everything favors for jones.

@@_LoveMeKnot not anymore. Francis can stuff takedown, pick his shots patient. Jone looks more well rounded than he actually is because he neutralized others strikes with eye poking long guard. That might not work against same length fighter, then he is a horrible striker that turns his head away. If Only Francis can keep his gas up, more likely he wins.

While Glover Teixeira is old, he right now the most well rounded fighter in division and finishes everyone including Thiago Santos and Anthony Smith (whom Jon Jones couldn't finish for example). If they rematch at current time it will be nothing like it was 9 years ago. Jiri Prochazka had given Dominic Reyes a life shattering knockout while Jon Jones had the most controversial fight of his career. Also, I still believe Anthony Johnson was the man to dethrone Jon Jones back in the day.

The UFC has been sucking lately with PPVs. They can't let this cash cow slip by. If he fights someone else, the PPV will be a lot lower. If he loses that fight this one will never happen. This fight will have a lot of hype and will bring in a record amount of PPVs. Danna isn't going to risk it.

He likely had good genetics and was pretty big but got bigger when he moved to France and was able to eat and supplement his workouts properly. He was definitely at least 200lbs in Cameroon though
