It never got old, that's true, but how tf did he evolve lol? He's been the exact same fighter for his entire career. He didn't improve his takedown game after fights got harder. His footwork is still bad. He does exactly what he would've done before, only he's fighting better opponents.

The eeriness of a calm and composed Jon Jones before his fights while knowing about his dark history is what makes him one of the most fearsome fighters ever. He can try to turn in a better side of himself, but Jones will always be loved as the best villain and one of the greatest to ever grace the UFC.

It's not about being inspired; he performs at his best when things are chaotic and crazy. I think he is inspired by his demons to pull the trigger more, which wasn't the case in his last two fights.
I respect him being honest about why he moved up to heavyweight. He admits he was slowing down. Smart guy to move up.
