While a pure stand up which turns into a bloodbath is sometimes epic to watch, all I'm thinking is the amount of CTE. From a health perspective, you should try to turn the fight into a wrestling/grappling match. 30 years from now on, I can see guys like Khabib still being relatively healthy, while guys like Gaethje being in a wheelchair.

That's one of the best wins in UFC history. 3 years off. Moves up 40 pounds. Fights a unicorn for the division. Utter destruction in the fight. Undeniable 🐐

Jon Jones is the GOAT in the heavier weight classes but GSP is the GOAT of MMA. GSP may of had 2 fluke losses when he was younger but he avenged both of those losses via knockout wins than he dominated not only older legends but he dominated all of the best WWs in the world while they were in their prime. Than he retired for a few years and than came back and won the middleweight title before he retired for good. The biggest thing is that GSP had never been popped for steroids so he has no asterisks on his record. So I got GSP as number one and Jon Jones or Anderson Silva as a very close number 2.

Crazy part is Jon Jones is already a long time vet with years of octagon experience but traditionally heavyweights peak around late 30’s to early 40’s so Jones only being mid 30’s is scary to think he could still get better over the next few years especially if he’s active. GOAT. I dont care if its '' just Gane who lost to Francis 2 fights ago'' (or whenever it was), he had 3 years off and comes and streamrolls the guy in 1 round under 3 mins. That is fight IQ and born to be a fighter at its absolute pinnacle. Gane is easily nr3 or 4 in the world, top 5 for sure. Jon just did that after 3 years out.

Definitely is one of the greatest MMA fighters to ever do it. So glad he's back and also at the heavyweight level. Would have loved to see Jon against Nganou.

He’s arguably Top 5 greatest combat athletes ever. I believe his heavyweight jump may be his most dominant years in the sport

The fact that he has so much respect for Stipe makes the fight so much more exciting.

Very generous of him and incredibly kind to donate the win bonus. I'm sure the charity organization will be thrilled hearing this and the people it can help. Great reminder to help your community, neighbours and those around you.

The fight lasted 2 minutes & 4 seconds and yet it felt way way shorter than that. Jones ended it literally in the blink of an eye. Jones didn't fight like a guy who's been away for 3 years, he fought like he never left period. Dam. The G.O.A.T. still got it!

He has gotten the maturity that he was lacking he seems of sound mind and at peace with himself and he knows he’s an absolute force and is willing to go all in on the discipline and decision making he needs to continue to do what he does best with no interruption to his career

This was a warm up fight. Don’t sleep on stipe. He always makes the adjustments and the only heavyweight that may not be as athletic as Jones, but can match his strength and IQ

Triple C was right. He said it wouldn’t go past round 3. Nobody could have called it wouldn’t go past minute 3. 🐐 baaaaaaaaaaa
