he's that good an actor...to me ii didn't even occur that this would be his normal voice...his voice as frank is so natural and doesn't feel like he's putting on a show at all, sometimes even the best of actors mess up the voice part, christian bale who is an amazing actor sometimes puts on that extra effort to roughen his voice up and it kind of shows obviously like in the terminator movie he did, with jon however it felt so natural

The biggest throw off for me was Jessica Jones voice vs Ritter's. You know the character and the actor are different. That goes without saying, but Jessica jones and Ritter couldn't be more polar opposite. They're like either sides of the extreme.

It seems like he’s got a more normal voice when he’s an unprovoked Frank Castle, but when Punisher mode is activated, his voice is more gruff.

Billy : "Did you do this to me? " Frank : "You're god damn right, I did" I miss this voice

His performance as the punisher was supernatural,,,,,the way he talks,the way he walks ,the way he is broken from inside ,the way he talks when he was angry ,that scheme was extra ordinary,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no other in the planet can replace him as punisher,he is a king for a Reason

This is my first time hearing Jon Bernthal speaking off screen, and this is his natural voice? Seriously?! He sounds absolutely nothing like The Punisher, I am absolutely taken aback by how he completely changes character like that...insane. I love his performance so much.

I think it's commendable he doesn't just rely on getting in character on set only. He goes the extra mile by preparing ahead of time, which shows true passion.

There are few actors whom I can't imagine to be not be in that role... Daredevil, punisher, Harrison wells and so many others. John definately nailed this charecter.

It's strange to see him out of character, but it's also fresh and new.

I wish they had another season of Punisher, he did such a good job, all the emotions he acted out really felt so real.

He's the perfect role for Joel in The Last Of Us.

I can’t believe how different Jon is in real life from the punisher! he really becomes a whole separate person on camera. Also kudos to kimmel’s interviewing skills, I haven’t watched much of his show but he clearly is really good at making the guest feel comfortable and glosses over questions that the interviewee doesn’t have a lot to say about

His voice is so high pitched with a happy tone in comparison that it threw me completely off. Now I can't look at him the same!

Jon Bernthal is a legitimate badass. The reason why his Shane and his Punisher were so good and so believable, is because he's pulling from his real life experiences. He came dangerously close to murdering a man and spending the rest of his life behind bars. Then a month later he was cast in the Walking Dead, and his life changed forever. He's done a complete 180. So don't let the nice guy voice fool you. He's a dark dude with a dark past, and he can flip it like a switch.

he's a good actor. his voice is so different than on the show lol

Stoney Conway same! He has such an intense tone when he portrays his characters. He sort of brought the Punisher character over into the WindRiver. I cant remember how he sounded in TWD, but I always thought he has a little more commanding voice haha.

Jon is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met tbh. So kind and humble I love him and his family! :) he also looks good shirtless 🥲

The dialogue between Punisher and Daredevil on the rooftop in episode 3 was incredible, and truly fantastic performances.

I freaking love him as the punisher!! He's great in the role of Frank Castle. Great show.

I have not not watched the punisher or the walking dead, but I just recently watched a few movies with him in them. I really think he is an awesome and terrific actor. If you guys haven't watched, I suggest shot caller, wind river, the accountant.

First time I've seen him out of Walking Dead/Punisher. He is not like Shane at all. Incredible actor, I'm a big fan. He seems like a really down to earth, cool guy. He nails his characters, I hope to see him in a lot more.

His original voice is not at all what I heard in Punisher. I guess my whole life is a lie to me.

The Punisher is one of my favourite shows. He’s class in that show!

Jon Bernthal as the punisher is one of the most spot on superhero castings ever. He brings such an intensity an emotional range to the character, that we have never seen before in any medium. You actually understand why he thinks what he's doing is right, and you feel for this guy. Easily the best part of Daredevil Season 2. He better get his own show, cause Jon Bernthal's version was goddamn amazing.
