Thank you very much!
They look great in the flesh, sounds like its got a fair bit of poke to it. Hopefully see it running soon 👍

Yerhh a little too much poke IMO. Not sure if I am going to keep it in yet, I am getting a little wise in my old age lately and trying to tone down the power I put through these old Buggies. But it sure it fun though. Thanks for tuning in.

Great build. Have mine in line to build. Just waiting on a few parts to make it a Winger

Winger? Sounds interesting?
Tempting but found VQS half price and happy keeping the yellow shocks on with a RZ brushed motor.

Lovely kit the VQS even though it is a very delicate car.
Great build mate 👌

Thanks Mark. Cheers for tuning in.
Great video! Really love the Boomerang. Does the wider/thicker Hotshot drive shaft you installed rub at all on the chassis?

Cheers Pal. No it does not.
Nice build there Paul. Just finished mine today also. I fitted a set of silver hotshot blockhead rims on mine which really sets it off. Looking forward to your run vid it should be a ripper. It's suprising how well this buggy handles considering how old it is👍

Yerhh Most of My Tamiya have OP motor ESC combo's in them, Except the Monster Beetle, Lunch Box, and Nova Fox. Yours sounds good with the Silver Wheels. Did you end up getting a Hotshot Blockhead?

@@FullOnRC No I haven't bothered with the blockhead hotshot as I don't like the look of it. I'm waiting for them to reissue the original hotshot 2 and the falcon would be nice too
Great vid thanks. Do (or anyone in the comments) happen to know the Tamiya part numbers for the upgraded prop shaft and cups that you used please?

@@FullOnRC thank you I really appreciate that. I used to race a Boomerang as a kid, my wife surprised me with a new rerelease kit for Christmas, I’ve been getting the recommended upgrade parts I come across before building it. Also got a Sport Tuned motor on the way.

He’s not wrong. My original Boomerang I got in ‘88 was an incredible piece of shit.
