I've been building Tamiya RC and 1/35 scale models since 1979. One thing that has never changed with Tamiya is the use of screws and the complexity of their models. This kit will shortly be in my collection it has peaked my interest since I first saw it.

When deciding a paint scheme I chose my colors and after cutting out the body i save the big scraps to run tests on the color and the sheen of the finish. Second time I've watched and found some more great tips from you and the best part is your knowledge of the modal at hand. I don't race so the setup of my modals is what's suggested in the manual. keep it up my brother this vid works for me THANKS

Thanks for the video! You've EARNED my like. You gave a lot of good information. I was browsing a hobby shop website for plastic scale models and this (BBX) happened to randomly show up. I instantly fell in love with it because I used to run the Tamiya Wild One and Fast Attack Vehicle in the '80's against my friends Frog and Hotshots and Hornet. I love that Tamiya has quality cars that look real. THey're durable, high performance, and they really look great in scale. Without realizing how new this was I thought I must have this. This car will bring me back to the hobby!😀 I have an RC-10 and my two Tamiya kits in storage and I will be resurrecting them soon, maybe this year, but This will be my only new car. I've been watching other videos on this BBX and RC-10 and some are boring and uninformative. 😴🥱You taught me quite a lot about this car. Keep up the good work and thanks for not wasting my time. If there's one thing you can improve on the video, I would say its the sound quality. It seemed low and difficult to hear. 😀😀

Would you tell me what orange paint you used? Was it Tamiya Polycarbonate PS-24 Fluorescent Orange? Any tips for painting with that color? Thanks!

Ps-19 camel yellow. If you want it to stay bright, back with silver or white. For a stronger mustard color back with black. Spray many coats lightly is better than few thick coats, thin coats also dry faster. I always soak my paint cans in hot water 15min prior to painting, makes the paint come out nicer from the can. When youre almost done, spray the can upside down so the inner tube empties and less likely will have clogs in paint can for future

Super yucky that the TA06 transmission it comes with doesn't have a gear differential out of the box. I wouldn't bother trying to run the stock ball differential at all, the gear differential would be something I'd order with the kit.
