Very nice love the colour drives great thanks for sharing
I was surprised how easy it is to control TBH. Agree it's a stunning colour. Cheers for tuning in.
I think you and that car are made for each other! 😅Oh yeah, boyssss!😁👍
@@scaleworksRC just put an order in for another street car. Can't wait.
@FullOnRC Yeah, I'm about ready to throw a brushless motor in the Subi and go next level ham 🫡
🇮🇪 top class driving 🚙 it's magnificent very good
Top day, never raced at southport before, the back section I struggled with all day, then had electrical issues in the last final, as can be seen in the last final, It didn't move of the line and took out 7th and 9th😢
Arhhh I seen that Matt. I didn't know who it was. Sorry that happened bud. Did you find out what it was?
@FullOnRC sensor cable, kept cutting out all race, just as I was about to pull it of it come back alive again, a very limped home race
@@mattwilkinson7563 Glad it a cheap fix. I had a glitch here last year that took me a while to get to the button of.
Very good racing Paul and looks to be a very challenging track but it’s amazing what speeds you can get , great action and thanks for sharing mate
The set up of every race being a final made it really enjoyable. No messing around just straight up racing wheel to wheel. Had a few untidy moments but thats the nature of finals sometimes. It was a good day mate.
@@FullOnRC yes mate we all have a few untidy sloppy laps don’t worry about that main thing is your enjoying it and you can see you are, your driving good please keep up the good work mate I look forward to more
My k6s steers just like that 3:37 . I ve never set endpoints but probably should . Using the Amazon 35kg servo prob isn’t the best either .
Yerhh I did my end points when I changed radio over. Yep them Amazon 35kg are pretty slow although they do have some power. I turned up the BEC voltage in this so in the next video running it on 4s it is a hell of a lot better.
That’s a badass RC 👍.
Ohh yes it is a mighty beast. I have ran it on 4s since but I just love the power of 6s and will go back to 6 at some point in the near future.
🇮🇪 it's very impressive race 🏁 cool driving 🎮 🎮 🎮 🛻 🚙 🛻 brilliant, and it's fantastic race track
Cheers John. Southport is like The Silverstone of Northwest RC tracks.
Looks like i will be adding anti-roll bars😅
I thought I seen them for sale somewhere. 😀
@FullOnRC found them on e Bay. They are for the outcast- should bolt right up.
Is that 7 or 17 mins you got from this battery?
7mins. But unfair to fun it in a 6s heavy car like this. Next run going to put it in a 4s Arrma.
Nice !!! you definitely have that a go!! love the hotshot !! Tamiya old school !
It's a classic for good reason.
Hi paul I have the same kit I have finished the chassis , but the body will not fit properly any suggesting my name is Dave from Bristol
I noticed the body didn't fit well on mine tbh. Especially at the rear. Think it is a bit of a botch up job by Tamiya myself.
Fantastic, 4s is perfect, I don't think you can better this truggy?
Still going to run it 6s just because. Got some fans coming. I blew the tires off my 6s Spark I don't think the tires on this will last long because they have Rips in them already.
@@FullOnRC I reckon your tires would last longer on 4s and probably the rest of the car 🤷
@@FullOnRC Just a thought, have you got any 5s batteries you could try?
@@Lander76 No Unfortunately not.
@@Lander76 But that's like having a v8 and only running it on 6 cylinders LOL.
Still stock pinion you using? Btw Garage Life RC makes a good wing mount with wheelie bar for Kagama and it’s flexible.
Yerhh I think I seen the wing mount when I searched for one on Google. Yerhh stock pinion.
0:30 LOL 😆 awesome episode! I know that's a good feeling when you get it dialed in and running good like that.
I really enjoyed making this video and it was good to have #Hobbyking involved. Think I will still run this on 6s at some point because the amount of power is a bit addictive.
@@FullOnRC Yep, I'm tempted to try 6S on my boat again but I don't wanna burn anything up or break a shaft 4S is deffo the sweet spot!
@@scaleworksRC Yerhh I agree. 3s can be a little too slow and 6s can be a little too much. All 4s trucks I have perform well.
Can’t believe how brutal this car is so much power 4s seems to be the sweet spot still quick but just takes that insane edge from it, if it was me I’d keep it on 4s definitely amazing machine and some day I’d like one just for the fun factor, Paul mate thanks for sharing this great video and thank you 👍
Yerhh 4s was good. Still the more power the better. I have bought some cooling fans for the motor on all my Corally's so have to fit them and take them out on 6s. I predict I will need some new tires soon, because 6s power and these stones really cuts up the rubber.
@@FullOnRC yes definitely it’ll soon eat the rubber I definitely look forward to more videos on this model, this thing is a monster for sure
@@Garethfrostturkeythroat113 These tires already have some pretty big rips in them from the first time I took it out on 6s. Thinking of getting some new Arrma Outcast 6s tires for it maybe.
🇮🇪 totally magnificent very good
Cheers John.
No offence, but an awesome video ruined by elevator music from a psych ward. We’re saturated with terrible music everywhere. In shops, elevators, bars. Please repost without it.
How easy is this car to build , I've built a hot shot , any more difficult than that , and have you ever built a car for anyone if so how much did you charge for it
Its not anymore difficult than a Hotshot. You will be able to do it N.P. Only part a bit different are the ball diff.
So would you or do you build for people
@@glencurtis6496 I don't sorry. Some Model shops offer the service.
@FullOnRC OK thanks , love your build videos , are there going to be anymore soon
@@glencurtis6496 Moved away from Tamiya ATM Just to change it up a bit. Got a few RTR bashing videos in the pipeline next.
That's beautiful Paul but in the USA the block head Wild One is $248 and you can get the block head Hot Shot 4WD for $212 w/ ball bearings. I got the Hot Shot!!!!!
Sounds like you made the right choice. Enjoy.
@@FullOnRC keep them coming Paul!
I'm running some Proline Masher tires on mine and has completely changed the control and the way it drives. Truck stays more planted and doesn't walk all over the place on concrete. I really enjoyed the video especially the drifting.
Awesome thanks. I have been on the fence about getting a MT8 but the reviews don't come across well.
Looks great plenty of power
Yes it does. Corally RTR electronics are the best on the market.
🇮🇪 very good video sharing
Thanks John.
flipping heck 😮 that's a rocket 🚀 beast 💪💪 do you think the size of the wheels affects the steering? hell of a machine though 👍👍😀
I think so yes as with any RC. But this didn't full turn even when driving forward which is usually a sign it is too slack. I give it maybe 3/4 of a turn and took it out today and it was a hell of a lot better.
@@FullOnRCwas that the steering dual rate Paul 😉 At 5/full it’s wild and still carves a corner if needed😉 Less than 5 and it’s like it’s not listening to your inputs🤣🤣
The 1/8 size just steers that way , not very good at high speeds . I even tried 4s backflips and it was only marginally better . Total difference form 1/10 size RC s .
@@Hungrybird474 Narrr it is a lot better after adjusting up the servo saver. It defiantly needed it. I know what you mean about large scale RC's. They can steer like boats sometimes.
What an animal! 😮
Yerhh took it out today on 4s and it was still mightily impressive.
Wowww !!! Exelent video mate !!!!!Are you running the stock pinion 17 T gear ? How many mah 6S are you running ? Did you put a cooling fan in the motor ?
Cheers. Pal. This is an incredible RC Car. Yes all stock. No no cooling fan. Running Zeee 5200mah 6s Lipo.
@@FullOnRC thanks ! No heating issues with the motor without the cooling fan ?
@@eduardonessim4499 All my Corallys run really hot TBH, most only had one run. Any suggestions of one to get, I am on the look out?
@@FullOnRC yes! Put a new faster 4x4 cooling fan inside the esc, and two fast cooling fans in the motor in series . You can tie them on top of the motor with plastic straps. You can connect both to the receiver.
@@eduardonessim4499 Just ordered a few Surpass Hobby Heatsink and fans.
It's a beast 💪
That my friend is very true. I have never seen a 6s RC with this much power.
How thick is the oil in the front, center and rear diffs?
I've only changed the centre to 2 million.
Brilliant mate it goes like stink great action as always
Yes it does mate. A little too quick, especially when you get one wheel off the ground and blow a tire like I did.
Hi mate I've got the python 6s the sparks first incarnation and after a few upgrades it's an amazing car and great on the track
Yerhh would love to race these in a real series.
🇮🇪 totally magnificent unbelievable its just brilliant video very good unboxing, very cool driving 🎮 🛻
Thank you 👍
@@FullOnRC your welcome
How does it run? I couldn't find a video of you running it. I've seen several build videos where they have drive issues and eventually give up. It's a shame because I was thinking about getting one but maybe I should get something else?
I didn't really buy this to run. It was the first car I raced back in the day and just wanted to own one again. Shame about the running issues people are having. I also bought a load of upgrades for this but they never seem to be in stock. I am kind of disappointed a lot of people are having drive issues that's a shame. Regarding buying one. I think that depends if you want to race it or not?
@@FullOnRC yes, I've seen people running them fine and others seem to have a lack of drive (apparently not the slipper) so I wasn't sure what to make of it. I didn't know whether the car has a fragile drive or if they just didn't build it right. I thought it would be a good car to race in a classic series.
@@hubdeep9452 I know a lot of people that do run them and have had great success with them. I ran one of these for many seasons back in the day before moving on to The Cougar 2. Maybe these people you have heard about are simply just not setting the belt tension right. I personally think it is a good car with a strong pedigree myself.
@@FullOnRC thanks for the reassurance. I will give it another look. I've always wanted one 👍
I love how this thing looks. They have really nailed it 👏
Yerhh I totally agree. Perfect on many levels.
I've gotten the Spark XB6, also in blue. Neat car. And since i'm belgian, it was an easy choice 🙂
Just picked up the Spark myself. The thing is a rocket.
Yeah, it's nice when you need to exercise a bit of throttle control.. but it has the power to absolutely send it when you want to! Oh yeah boysss!
Yerhh it certainly has a very prominent throttle curve.
🇮🇪 cool driving very its fantastic 🎮 🛻 its brilliant
Awesome John thanks.
You really need to look into gearing it up with a smaller spur and larger pinion if you want speed. Just have to decide how important it is to you to have that transmission cover on when it comes to fitting some larger pinion gears 10.5 BL motor is plenty fast.
I got the 8S V2, it’s an absolute monster you can feel it hit the ground 😂
LOL oh yes sir. I know and have also felt the tremors you speak of. I had a Kraton 8S EXB back in the day. #Goodtimes
Great First look at it Paul I have always wanted an outcast
Yerhh me too. Had the version one and this is so much better and bigger., Took it out other day and it was wild. Skate park tomorrow. Cheers for tuning in Will.
🇮🇪 well done its fantastic sharing
Thank you very much!
Yo loving your content, if you had to choose would you go for the Asuga or an mt platform, looks like a proper drivers car this one.
yerhh its a tough one. This handles beautifully. I just got another large scale Corally in the studio so I'll something to compare the Asuga to very soon. Stay tuned.
That slow mo sound is horrible
car looks amazing, love the drifting, awesome run 😎👍👌😃
Yerhh this was a pig when I first took it out, just the back end spinning out all the time. Tuning the diffs made it so much better. I have been looking at The Associated SR7 Hooigan. I think it is 6s and looks top notch. It's expensive though and I feel most of that expense is paying for the Licenced mustang body.
🇮🇪 very good
Cheers.
This car is nice ! I love mine
Yerhh they are fun. I'm going to get the steal spur gear for mine, and the gear cover from the rally version.
Brilliant Paul the gyro works great on the car , some difference when you turned it off but definitely some nice drifting action, thanks for sharing 😊
Yerhh the first video I made with this car I didn't post because the car was so underwhelming. It is so much better now. Still seems a bit slow for 4s IMO. Have to have another mess with it I think. Thanks for tuning in.
