It’s a win for men who are abused most definitely, I personally know men who have been abused but said nothing believing they would never be believed just because they are men.

@@Nunyabzinss Men get sexually harassed too and by women nonetheless, it was the case of one coworker who was asked to leave the job because it was either that or she was going to falsely accuse him after she was the one touching him several times in front of us. He felt disgusted by her always and our boss had no choice. All of us hug him on his way out and the female coworkers were crying and telling him they felt terrible. I am revolted by anyone abusing others, regarless of gender, both men and women should face the law and be punished accordingly, it's either that or we have to accept that a part of our society has more privileges than the other.

Seriously she abused him verbally, mentally, psychological, physical. I mean u can tell he’s mentally exhausted and just couldn’t keep taking it and taking it while doing nothing and all he did was call her a fat ass, she called him much worse and did so much worse. She would poke, taunt, provoke and exhaust him and all he did was use his words. She cut his finger off and put out a cigg on his face on the same night! She ruined his chance of getting sober and all the staff knew her being there wasn’t helping him but making it worse like impossible. She didn’t want him to get better and she was also drinking hard and doing drugs and mixing them too. If u wanted ur partner with substance issues to get clean and sober and stay that way, why continue to party yourself and with ur friends and sister making him have to stay in that environment and toxicness . And we heard the audio where she knew it was being recorded, knew she was taking a video of him, we didn’t get her real moments of crazy and no doubt she’s worse behind doors when she doesn’t record it. And the times she knowingly recorded thought she wasn’t in the wrong when it’s clear she was and abusive

I have been in an abusive relationship with a narcissist and I could tell more and more as her story came out during the trial that Amber was a narcissist. Focusing on her demeanor and her "tells" were a huge giveaway for me. It makes me glad that this whole trial was televised, so others could determine for themselves how callous and manipulative that woman truly is. I heard that Johnny is the one who requested that it be televised, and if that's the case, I know exactly why he did. He wanted the world to see her true colors. Omg you’re spot on! I to am a survivor of DV and could read her on the stand like a book. I had to not listen to the bottle part. She hasn’t made it harder for survivors of DV, we who have been in therapy in the past could read her like a book. And where are the medical reports after such horrific acts being committed against her. She needs help…. Also, I think men who have been abused won’t be so embarrassed to come forward. I also pray that Johnny will put this behind him and hopefully stop drinking. Just saying

I completely disagree with the lawyer in this video that AH was fighting an uphill battle because she wasn’t well liked. She had been liked up until we started seeing and hearing the evidence and it became very clear she was not truthful about a lot of things we all believed from when they first split. It’s really hard to win a court case when anyone that watched AH testify could see she was trying so hard to squirt a few tears and “act” like a legit battered woman. It was sickening watching her on the stand. To say she lost because she wasn’t well liked is basically saying she couldn’t win because of her reputation instead of the fact that she was completely full of crap. We should believe people, not just women but men too, that say they are being abused but obviously it’s not always true. She lied, everyone knew it after she testified including the 7 jurors and that’s that. She didn’t lose because people didn’t like her.

DC are opening up a pandora chest if they ain't going to ban her completely from Aquaman 2. Not just for that movie, but any other future movie of theirs at this point. With that been said, I hope theres a richman willing to buy off Pirates of the Carribean off Disney and have Johnny send off Captain Jack Sparrow the way he wanted to. Johnny never said he wouldn't do another PoTC movie... He just wouldn't do it when Disney are in charge. So if anyone could buy it off them it would be great.

What the verdict says is that "Amber has lied so much in a court of law that, who can believe anything she says?" She's not a reliable witness. Further stated, reactive abuse is not quite the same as mutual abuse, and we believe that Johnny was the reactive victim at any given time whenever, if ever, he could have been reactive. He was actually perceived as mostly patient with Heard. Although, the article starts out with the subject of sexual violence, the majority of the court time, from start to finish, centered on Miss Heard's incredibly false claim to have had her face bashed-in, every day, by a man with brass knuckles. This ludicrous statement discredited Amber in any, and all, otherwise mysterious claims. Evenso, there were more audios that didn't make it into court, which the public knew about, verifying the unlikelihood that any of her claims were true. In one such audio, Amber accompanied Johnny Depp in hospital, where the doctor said, Amber's injuries were self-inflicted, said she was guilty of harming Johnny Depp, and asked Jerry Judge to get her away from Johnny, as she is combative. Also, the doctor had entertained thoughts of turning Heard over to police, but couldn't stand to have her near him, long enough, to make that happen. Heard was stomping around not wanting to leave, making the occasion all about her disrupted image on the hospital floor because of Johnny's injury, never acting afraid of Johnny in any of her own recordings where she is baiting him.

Amber didn't think Johnny would be so willing to show all the ugly bits of his life to the world just to expose her. She probably thought that was the safety net against ever having to corroborate her claims, Johnny being too shamed and scared that the world will see his flaws. But she harmed him and his name enough that he probably thought “Well I’ve got nothing to lose; let's do this. You have more to be exposed than me.” “That’s why I wrote the op-ed.” Amber wasted a big part of the court's time trying to dismiss the case because she denied writing the op-ed. I broke up with a violent narcissist this time last year, and JD's trial was a valuable lesson for my successful escape. I had audio and video evidence of her violence for months. She had clued on to me audio recording her, which is why she would walk up and kick or punch me and when I'd say, "why would you do that?" she'd reply, "do what, I didn't do anything, you're making it up". She was thinking I was only audio recording, when in fact I was recording video but she never found out until after I left. It made her look even more insane than she already was! When I made my escape, and got to safety, she started messaging and begging me to come back. When she realised I wasn't coming back, she threatened to go to the police to report me for DV, and to contact my employer to "metoo" my successful career that I'd built over the course of a decade. It was at this point I informed her of the video evidence, and sent her some sample clips of her going ballistic, all the while I'm covering up and trying to escape the room to get to safety. She knew she was sunk and had no leg to stand on. What p!sses me off is the fact that I, or any man, had/have to endure weeks of violence _just_ to capture evidence to protect ourselves from the courts if our ex decides to lie. It shouldn't be this way, men shouldn't have to endure anything just to protect ourselves from lies. I ended up getting a restraining order on the woman and left her to her own insanity.

I have so much admiration and respect for Johnny Depp for having the courage and strength to put himself and his personal life on display and fighting for the TRUTH. I’m a kid from the ‘80’s and I’ve grown-up watching Johnny Depp play in some of my favorite movies. I’ve always admired him as a talented actor and now I admire him even more, because I see a strong yet humble loving person and father. I am so happy that Johnny Depp won this case. The jury made the right choice. This also feels like a personal victory because it exposes the injustice of a false restraining order: a law that is issued way too easily and is almost impossible to appeal and revoke. People are too quick to assume the worst without vetting the information nor the people making the allegations. They don’t think about the impact a restraining order and also false sexual assault allegations have on a person. It makes me happy to see Johnny Depp play music again and pursue his passions. This inspires me to do the same. This is a lesson in letting go of the past and opening myself up to new experiences. This is a chance to re-invent myself.

Being given the privilege of watching this trial we were able to discredit the media bias towards Ms Heard (pretty much exactly the stuff that Johnny was complaining about). It was supremely satisfying to see an abuser revealed and no longer able to pretend to be the victim. Justice for Johnny was achieved 👏🏻✊🏻

This verdict is a victory for every man who has been a victim of DV, ignored by the system, called a liar and laughed at by others, my son included. Money doesn't heal the scars he will forever have to live with but clearing his name will certainly help him to heal. Much love & respect to JD, his family, friends and supporters.

@@stephenfrancis567 10000% right! I think that in order to deter other people from making false allegations of DV that there should be a charge for them. They should also be made to face people who actually have experienced DV and tell them what they did. The girl who strapped the mattress to her back, was she eventually charged? The same goes for people who create fake hate crimes too!
