It's funny you say that, let's not undermine the high court that found Johnny Depp to be a wife beater. The judge wrote 129 page document on their findings whereas this unsequestered jury filled out a yes/ no form. He may have won THIS case, but he's still guilty of being a wife beater in the eyes of the law. 12 out if 14 accounts, with evidence. Johnny goes back to court next year for assaulting a co-worker on set, so while Hollywood is done with the crackhead, at least you can still watch him at his new career as a court attendee.

We've all seen Elaine using unethical tactics during the court case, but all this appearing on TV rubbishing the jury and the judge a day after the verdict is just unbelievable. She is rapidly losing any sympathy people had for her.

I agree! The verdict was a great day, for justice, and the victims of narcissistic personalities - men or women. Many of these borderline types do their best to ruin the lives of the people they live with, leave or divorce. She blatantly lied so much, and it was so obvious that she was acting, trying to pretend she was upset and distressed. Well, I hope she's genuinely distressed now, knowing that virtually no one believes her lies. Even when the FACTS clearly showed she was lying, she just continued to try and con everyone. I hope this sends a big message to other narcissistic people, that the rest of us are onto them. And we are no longer going to let them get away with their vile and malicious behaviours.

What happened to “I just want to put all this behind me and get on with my life”? You don’t have to be perfect but it hurts your case when you get caught lying. When you seek a TRO and then you break it twice? It seems as though you were lying when you obtained the order. When you claim “that you love Johnny and could never hurt him” and there’s a audio of you admitting that you hit him it’s proof you’ve lied. When the jury hears you lie once they tend not to believe anything else you have to say. When you publicly claimed you’ve donated $7 million to charity and it turns out no actually you haven’t you’ve been caught in a lie again every time you lie the jury tends to disbelieve any other things you say. When you claim you believe you had your nose broken TWICE but didn’t seek treatment it seems that you’ve lied yet again- especially when your face is your living. So true victims of DV/IPV with evidence have nothing to fear. Those who don’t have evidence and think that lying is a way to improve your position in a divorce or divorce settlement you need to rethink your plan.

Something apparently everyone forgets, the UK trial was between Johnny and the Sun, not between Johnny and Amber. So no, Elaine, Johnny didn't already have "his shot".

The photo of the spilled wine on the floor really killed her case. Her entire legal team prepped her and practice things to say and that showed. When her team questioned her on that exact photo she had a ENTIRE STORY. BUT when Johnny legal team questioned her about that same photo amber didn't have a clue what the photo was. She didn't remember her story about it. That is what killed her case. And it's sad and pathetic. She did this to herself. And honestly a appeal will be a total joke. Using UK courts to dismiss the case, where a single judge determined the outcome and not the jury, and a different procedural system is simply outlandish for a US attorney to disrespect the jury's intelligence and their decision.

Interestingly, the one old judge dismissed the case on spurious grounds in the case which was against 'The Sun' raggedy tabloid, not Heard directly. And by ignoring the evidence such as recordings, duplicate photos, Heard kept the pay-out she wouldn't have otherwise received and claimed to have donated, and e.g., the imaginary bruise 6 days after Depp left the country which miraculously vanished the day after the TRO was achieved - and at the time when Heard was still seeing Musk while the Murdoch family who owns that tabloid had a son on the Tesla board. Hmmm!

Also the Judge in the UK court had connections to the owner of the Sun newspaper, his own son worked with the journalist who wrote that headline! And over here in the UK we all know the Sun will make up anything! Some towns and cities refuse to have the paper sold there!

Just because Amber and her team don't like the jury's decision, doesn't mean they got it wrong. Elaine making all sorts of excuses makes her and Amber look even worse. It looks like Elaine is an older version of Amber. Like Amber, in Elaine's world everyone else is to blame for why things didn't go her way. She's done a perfect job, but the jury is too blind to see. No honey, your defence was sh and the jury saw right through your client's bs. Can't Elaine see how utterly insulting her comments are to that jury that had to give up 6 weeks of their lives to listen to Amber lie to them??? And btw, Deuters came out and said that he never sent said text messages to Amber and never discussed domestic violence with either Amber or Johnny. I am no legal expert, but from what I can tell, they had quite the competent judge presiding over that case. Chances are that that "mountain of evidence" just wasn't there after all. Elaine needs to stop being a crybaby. If she thinks the jury got it wrong, it's HER job to put together strong arguments to counter the jury's and public perception. She can't do that because the evidence just isn't there that Johnny was this violent maniac. There is however a true mountain of evidence that Amber was.

Every time I see Amber OR her LAWYERS faces.... i can feel myself making a disgust face automatically. Every time. They simply disgust me. You just can't pity people like this

As a trial lawyer myself, I can assure you birds of a feather flock together. Any attorney willing to represent someone with a borderline personality disorder like Amber unquestionably suffers from the same plight. This woman is no different than Amber Heard. Be governed accordingly….

It's rather odd that after a court unequivocally finds that one has has defamed (lied about) someone that you can to all intents just continue repeating those lies publicly. You would have though some kind of restraining order (a STFU order) would accompany the verdict/judgement. In some countries defamation can be prosecuted in the criminal courts, I occasionally wonder if that isn't a bad idea.

Does anyone still feel sorry for Elaine? This is the perfect lawyer for liar Amber. No self-respecting lawyer would take Amber's defense. Only someone with a character like Amber could do that - that is, Elaine. My question is, will Elaine be punished for publicly accusing jurors of breaking protocol? Is it normal behavior of a lawyer to accuse the jury of breaking the law, after the client loses? How much was Elaine paid or promised to make a complete fool of herself? I hope this appeal will be rejected. If not, I hope that Amber will end up paying Depp as much as he wanted in the lawsuit: $ 50 million

In our country, one of the prerequisites before asking for an appeal is to pay the stated damages of the recent trial through a bond. As I was informed, this is to remove the doubt that the payor is only filing for an appeal because they are unable to pay the damages. Is this not the same in the state of Virginia? Because Elaine blatantly informed the public that Amber is incapable of paying for the damages.

Saying the jury was swayed by social media is a massive slap in the face to the jurors.

Her team literally objected to themselves, she literally quit by saying "I'm trying, I'm trying..." and then "I have no more questions" yet she say that the jury did not do their job by the law and implied they have sought info from the internet although they are under oath they have not done so. To her the oath obviously means nothing. How can you tell when Elaine or Amber are lying? You can tell by their moving mouths.

I would be surprised if the jury was NOT exposed to what was on social media. However, Bredehoft made that claim but also that the jury was not allowed to hear about the UK result. Assuming she is right that the jury DID look at evidence presented outside the courtroom, one would have to assume that they would have come across the UK result and judgement.

That's not grounds for appeal. Courtrooms have galleries for a reason: trials are public.

She can't. Just like JD can't use this case to have his result against The S*n dismissed, she cannot file in the UK to have this result overturned. Elaine is a fool of the highest order, as proven in the trial during her redirect of her horrific client. Moreover, a jury decided that Depp was correct, which was his whole concern in the first place. A corrupt judge here in the UK will be brushed aside even if they did have the power to overturn this verdict, which they do not.
