    You mean the employer is top tier. when people are paid well and treated well, they tend to want to keep the same cycle. I bet JD has helped him during some time as he has helped ambers family members as well as his childhood best friends. All they’re doing is literally building a case for JD to win. JD does show a pattern of taking care of close friends and family or even just people who he happens to like. 100k a year and a penthouse condo just to paint shit. Whether or not he pays people well is irrelevant, they see he cares for their well-being so they in turn take care of him. In this case, the divorce the bodyguard saw coming from a mile away and took the steps needed to protect his friend, employer and the guy putting food on his table.

They heard Amber screaming blue Murder; ran in to find Raquel (& her bf) Amber’s friends surrounding her on one side of the sofa and Johnny Depp in the kitchen *THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM* (they were trying to set him up) JD’s security said ‘let’s go boss’ Johnny kicked out her friends then we see elevator footage - I wish the lawyers had made this clearer since it speaks on her devious behaviour & the reason the magazines ran with the manufactured lie (which affected his employment profoundly- which is the entire point of this trial!!)

    Why is it hearsay when Depp says Amber thru a bottle that sliced his finger off? Shows pictures, maybe there’s dispute over how it happened. Atleast there’s proof the injury happened. While Amber can stage a situation to show her husband angry, or sleeping, accuse him of abuse without ANY proof. And that not be hearsay as well? Then say he’s gets angry sometimes, slammed a door, used drugs or alcohol, so her conclusion is he must be violent and these actions are proof of it. But if he alleges she is the abusive one some how it makes him out of line in court? Courts a joke. Johnny’s lawyers need to set this aside, accuse the court of prejudice and defamation at this point and dismiss the trial with prejudice to the court for allowing it go on this far, and demand Amber charged with crime for making false allegations as Juicy Smolet was. Along with being sued in civil court for damages. She might as well settle, say she’s sorry, and hope the prosecutor is lenient. But she’s a product of the pathetic excuse for justice in America.

  • @johnbull1568

    @johnbull1568

    Also not an American, but my basic understanding is that objections are usually raised when the defence ask a question that does not relate to what the witness saw or heard personally, or that they are not legally qualified to give an answer for. Foe example, the witness can state that he saw Depps finger injury after he returned from Australia, but can not make any statement as to how the injury happened because he wasn't there to witness it, even if Depp told him how it happened. That would be hearsay and an objection will be raised. Foundation is a bit tougher to explain, but basically if the defence ask a question, it has to be established beforehand that the witness is in a position to give a correct answer. This is the reason why expert witnesses will be quizzed on their resume and qualifications before they get to answering questions about the case, in order to establish that they have a foundation to give an opinion, and that they're not just some rando dragged off the street. If this particular witness had been brought in as an expert on domestic violence, psychology or whatever, his foundation to answer questions on those topics could be established so that he could answer them, but ultimately he's just an unqualified person that can only be asked, and answer questions that relate to what he saw or heard personally. And when I say 'heard', I mean stuff that he heard with his own ears, like someone shouting during an altercations, and not stuff that he heard from other people talking about it.

    Lawyers are morally bankrupt. This trial involves two obscenely wealthy people, and the plaintiff's attorney stands to incur a very large and unprecedented windfall from making sure nothing gets through - a paycheck is a paycheck, so they play the rules of the court forum as stringently as possible, even if they know in their own mind that their client is completely guilty of what they're being accused of. An objection is something either attorney has the right to do when a speaker says something irrelevant, misinformed, or potentially falsified. If the judge sustains it, the speaker may not continue on that point. AH's lawyer is objecting the injury recounts because he's very well aware they're all true and doesn't want the judge or jury to be privy to them.

  • @johnbull1568

    @johnbull1568

    @@Backwardskey Not entirely correct. Everything every witness says is potentially 'falsified' or 'misinformed'. If a witness has the grounds to make a statement, ie they saw something personally and it is relevant, or they are professionally qualified to answer on a topic, then there is no objection. If they suspect that a statement is false, then they can pursue it under cross-examination. They can't just object because something is 'false'.

  • @jettrainbow

    @jettrainbow

    Objections are used to stop, or attempt to stop, improper questioning by an opposing attorney. There are rules for questioning and if they break the rules you may object and the judge can decide to "sustain" your objection, which means they agree they were breaking the rules, or "overrule" it, which means they don't think a rule was being broken.
