Court crack-up: Johnny Depp amused over tabloid stories, makes gallery laugh | LiveNOW from FOX

Johnny Depp became both amused and frustrated as Amber Heard's attorney went through a number of tabloid stories written about the actor before Heard's op-ed in the Washington Post, which is the basis for the lawsuit. At one point while reading the story headlines, Depp sarcastically complemented the attorney for reading the headline very well.

It honestly doesn't matter if it's stricken from record or objected, so long as they hear it. The problem is that it's so overt, even a child would see through the attempt at being manipulated, let alone a group of fully functioning adults. Anyway, they're just throwing darts, trying to hit any mark they can. It's kind of embarrassing to watch.

When probably in actuality he didn’t care about the tabloids because they aren’t factually based however her article was taken as a factual representation of their relationship. Trying to get him rattled about crappy articles………the attorney is either to dumb or doesn’t know much about who he’s questioning. Well, unfortunately the burden of proof is on Depp's lawyers. It's a defamation case, and that's a bit more challenging to prove. That being said, even if Depp's team loses this case, it is VERY, VERY clear that the general public is overwhelmingly supportive and sympathetic to Johnny Depp. The public is clearly not buying Amber Heard's attempt in playing the victim. So, when this case is over, if she wins, people will boycott her movies and probably Disney as well, for what they did to Depp. You can't underestimate the power of the court of public opinion.

I'm happy Johnny isn't allowing the lawyer rush him and keeps talking as he tries to talk over him(if he can get Johnny to just stick to the yes and no answering, with no extra comments, the chances are higher to turn the case the way her lawyer want it, if he cant keep Johnny from saying extra comments, he tries talk over in hope's the jury doesnt hear him). People today know what the media are all about, they will drag a celeb's name through the mud just for headlines. Any logical person had only got to look at facts when it comes to Johnny Depp's career in Hollywood, sure he has substance abuse issues and drug addiction problems he is "human" afterall, but there has never been a single story even a rumor of anykind of abuse of women, by Johnny Depp. When a movie star is a A-hole you hear many stories of thier bad behaviour over years just like Weinstein. the point is if Johnny was a abuser of women and real A-hole/SOB you would have heard things come out by now especially from his ex wives, Vanessa and Winona would be having a field day by now with the metoo movement. theres been nothing when it's come to Johnny Depp and his exes have been in full support of him that says alot.
