I’ve watched tons of interviews of Keira Knightley where she’s said that the studio did not like Johnny’s approach to playing Jack Sparrow and strongly opposed it. She said that Johnny categorically put his foot down and said that that was the only way he would play it and the studio could take it or leave it. He birthed that character entirely. The success of the movies and the character were predominantly due to just his portrayal and what he created of that character. She’s even said that that was a huge lesson for her as an actress to watch - how much conviction he had in how he wanted to play the role and how he stuck to his guns.

Just the fact that Johnny’s legal team seem so at ease in his presence, sitting comfortably, smiling, making regular warm eye contact and even touching speaks volume. He treats people with empathy and as fellow human beings... meanwhile, there’s the ice queen sitting on the other end smirking and mastering the death stare whilst her team fumbles nervously like they’re peons walking on eggshells fearing retribution. Whatever the outcome of the trial, I reckon Johnny gained the respect and admiration of the public forever by risking being so vulnerable. I’m very grateful he’s helping raising awareness about men being as likely to suffer from cluster B abuse, and how these dynamics might present. Team Depp forever 🏴‍☠️👑🥰✊🏻

Johnny Depp will not only come back, he will be bigger than ever. He has shown what a sensitive and caring person he had hiding inside. We all have our faults. There is only one Jack Sparrow. The Pirates franchise is nothing without him. Johnny is a master at developing characters! Edward Scissor Hands, Willy Wonka, Jack Sparrow, The Mad Hatter, and those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head! And he’s a great regular actor too! I hope that after the trial, when he wins, he will continue to take on extraordinary roles.

I'm never watching a Disney movie ever again...heart goes to Mr Depp, I hope that he gets Justice.

When you are an artist, you can tell how much love someone puts into their work. When I watched POTC, I knew that Mr. Depp put his heart and soul into that character. I could only imagine how heat breaking it must have been for him to have that taken away after years of domestic abuse. You could hear from the very first question in this clip that he immediately got emotional. It brings tears to my eyes from just listening to him.

Johnny is such a humble human being. Maybe that is why he was being easily abused by people whom he had trusted. Just like Chris Rock, he would come out of this stronger & more respected as a human being.

Amber either lied and wrongly accused him, or is just unbalanced, and delusional, and accused him because she was incorrect. But Amber is not the one who decided to drop Depp out of deals. This is going to keep on happening to people, unless we start somehow standing up for these people. Insane Disney would drop a main character like Johnny on a whim yet amber kept her job when people would have actually been happy having someone else do. Jack sparrow is definitely a harder role to replace

I think there should be punishment for them otherwise they have nothing to deter them from doing this. A story I once heard about a young man who's been 6 years in prison because he was accused of rape, turned out he was innocent and they found out because she posted something on Facebook making her really stupid but thankfully he was released and that's great he was released but since she paid for her crime? That young man lost a chance for scholarship I think it was for NBA and maybe he wouldn't have gotten it but he lost it you should make her pay for his 4 years of college or put her in prison for 6 years whatever.

Her acting in Aquaman was actually better than the acting on the witness stand and that is saying something cause her skills left alot to be desired. She looks excited to tell her script of the fake abuse. Is that normal? Johnny doesnt look excited to be in this ridiculously embarrassing situation at all.

Heartbreaking watching his pain here. I for one swore to never watch another Pirates of the Caribbean film, without Johnny Depp, because Jack Sparrow is who draws us in and leads us through the story, hilariously and intimately. My children, aged 16 to 25 have all been furious about disneys decisions and swore the same and many people I know. I'd like to add, I'm a 43yr old domestic violence survivor and I called this would happen to him at the hands of AH. I saw through her and it pains me that I was right. She's a disgrace to women and an insult to true dv survivors! Using our life for gain.

Whenever I imagine a pirate it will ALWAYS be Jack Sparrow. He left such a big impact to me that the first and only character I will never forget is Captain Jack Sparrow.

I fell in love with Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Disney big loss on your part. Watching this trial, seeing Mr. Depp hurt to tell all...air his personal "laundry" if you will, I can't help but to want to say, " Johnny Depp, you are in my prayers. May the Lord be your strength.

Let it be known that Mr. Hearsay(born J Benjamin Rottenborn) actually is quite renowned in his home state, graduating from the University of Virginia with the highest distinction and then receiving his degree from Stanford. Ms. Post-Menopause(more aptly known as Elaine Bredehoft) has a similar education and recognition, consistently having a placement as one of the top ten lawyers in DC. She has a slew of societies designed for the recognition of the best lawyers in the US as well as in Virginia. These are not bad lawyers. In fact, given this information, they are actually quite possibly the best lawyers money can afford. The issue is solely Amber Heard. No lawyer can make a mountain of a molehill, regardless of their qualifications. Her case is, in simple terms, utter garbage

I feel Johnnys pain, I had a relationship with a womem L.P., in which I suffered the same type of abuse as Depp, after I broke it off she went on to gaslight me just as A.H did to Johnny, 25 years later this episode of verbal & physical abuse I am still in recovery, so unless you have experienced this personality disorder you have no idea how it effects you.

I agree. I have watched and followed his career for a very long time and he has always come across as a very shy, private person. I am also an introvert so I can understand how much this is taking out of him to expose elements of his life so publicly. May justice prevail for Johnny.

I love Johnny Depp and will watch any movie he is in, especially the Pirates Franchise, this case has shown many things. That men can be abused, that women lie and that guilty until proven innocent is a real thing. And it has been going on way before this civil trial and in all facets of the law

Ambers lawyers are so pathetic. He can reserve as many objections as he wants they’re going to get overruled because he has no basis in this part of the trial😂 this is his turn to explain why it’s a defamation suit. Is he a new lawyer or just a really bad one?

@@andyvankerkhove6902 correct but the jury is specifically instructed by the judge to follow the rule of law, and part of that is dismissing sustained objections from testimony, despite what was said.

I think hopefully he will realize that it’s not about how Disney did him wrong and it’s not about how he feels (betrayed)…it’s about his fans who love him and his role as Jack Sparrow it means so much to so many people. He has a big heart and I believe he will do anything for his fans even if it means putting his ego aside. He cannot let amber or Disney’s foolishness destroy a beautiful character and franchise he created and worked so hard for that people will forever cherish

I love the part about how he quoted Monty Python and burning witches 😂 classic scene and term witch fit's Turd very well 😂 she would definitely float like 'an apple, a plank of wood, A duck' 😂
