While I recovered from it, and years passed, my parents never completely recovered from the experience. I've always heard the same and couldn't believe how he was treated by industry heads after Heard publicized her lies.

He's said that, when a 10 year old runs up to him yelling "OMG YOU'RE CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!" it means more to him that all the Oscars in the world.

This man and Keanu reeves are 2 of the greatest men of all time. They both have experienced unimaginable tragedy and yet still put their fans, family, friends and strangers before themselves. So much respect and love.

my son hd cancer. he is good now, but my wife and i may never totally get over it. after 10 years we still cry.

i’m chronically ill and as a child, deeply misdiagnosed and mistreated by my medical team. i was in ICU for three weeks as a kid and my mom, victim of ongoing domestic abuse and mom of 6, stayed with me every single day. slept on those awful pullout chairs for three weeks i showed this to her and she agreed. she never wanted to show it, wanted to be strong for me. but she said she was slowly dying. you can’t do anything for your baby as they cry and scream. i would beg her to make the pain stop and she couldn’t i think a visit from the captain would’ve helped her so much

Well said. As a parent you just want someone to understand they are still kids. It may be cancer or some other illness that is killing them. But, to see a smile or hear a giggle is the best medicine in the world. Our local hospital have a group of clowns that visit. It has been recorded as a great benefit to the children as well as the elderly.

Holy shit, I’ve seen the videos of him visiting bc childrens hospital and to know that he was a parent in that situation, I think that makes it mean so much more.
