I wrote him a letter, and he ACTUALLY called me up. He said next time he is in Vegas, he will visit my family and I. I wrote him explaining that I am a Terminally ill United States Marine, and a father of two. Once he hard I was a father, a young one at that, he said I couldn't imagine what you are enduring. And he promised he would come visit us in the hospital if I am there too. That's what you call a good man. The ONLY problem with the phone call was it happened at 2:45 am local time here in Vegas. But he was calling from France…. God Bless Johnny...

Yes, we all went to dinner at Del Monicos on the Las Vegas Strip. It was supposed to be his treat but the restaurant comped it as long as he took some photos with everyone. He was MOBBED, even in a RICH restaurant. It was right there and then I saw I would NEVER want to be famous. So many people came over to us....But he was VERY kind and we discussed his time in the film PLATOON. He loved hearing about the brotherhood of the Marine Corps and he LOVED that tightness of us and how we are brothers with one another for life. YES WE ARE. Good man... Many blessings.

Jordan Cole And he made me PROMISE to not post the photos on Facebook because he wanted to do it out of the goodness of his heart. Plus being a Marine that is terminally ill he didn't want to make it look like he was doing it for fanfare. He couldn't have been any warmer, but here's a GREAT, FUNNY STORY. He says this will ALWAYS be one of my FAVORITE photos which will hang forever in my living room for one reason. Here I stand with an Intelligence Operator, a Marine who is trained in everything and could kill me in seconds. Him being an Intel Operator basically means SPY but I know you will not confirm that. But here's the kicker, this Marine has jumped out of planes hundreds of times, probably killed hundreds of men with his bare hands, planted bombs under the water to blow up ships, might even be called by the President in a moments notice to complete an assignment, without a doubt one of the toughest men I've ever met yet he's so humble, and let's NOT FORGET this, he IS taking a photo with a man wearing more MASCARA than all the girls he's seen in the last few days!!! That was FUNNY AS HELL, and that's who he REALLY is.

Did you know at the audition, Amber Heard tried to tell them she was a good friend of Hunter S Thompson! Did she really think they would not know different? I guess he thought she was just trying to break the ice but I think that was just the tip of the iceberg and a sneak peek of what was to come. She later showed up at his trailer and tried to seduce him. He sent her away because at the time he was still with Vanessa and she was married to Tasia Van Ree. That should've told him something! Later, when they'd broken up for only 4 days, she was filming 3 Days to Live with Kevin Costner. Showed up on his doorstep in the nude. He not only turned her away, he blasted her at the after party for the cast when he heard her going on and on singing the praises of her boyfriend Johnny Depp!

People underestimate how FUNNY Johnny is, even when he's not playing anyone. His jokes are really inventive. We love you Johnny!

Johnny seems like the quiet kid who is actually really cool and awesome when he is comfortable with the right people.

They indeed had a toxic relationship, and no one would have talked about it anymore, if she hadn't made those statements of being a victim of domestic abuse. The way he interviews people is just so perfect, hard to explain, it´s just feels that artist actually are "ordinary" human beings, just feels he is talking to acquatiances and he manages to get great stories from them, funny , entertaining, the guest always look relaxed even happy to be there and to answer his questions , which is a change to other talk shows, when you just feel most of guest just want to have the interview over and done with...

Am I the only one amazed that in all his fame, talents and looks he still is always so shy around people and so down to earth ?

+Joy Deb How did that factor in to your curriculum? GCSE papers seem to be written by idiots sometimes. The one we had for English Language was 'What if Shirley Valentine was stranded on an Island with Robinson Crusoe?' I'd read the latter, but at the time I had no idea who Shirley Valentine was or how they'd interact. I just froze at how random the question was then finally I simply wrote "I have no idea who Shirley Valentine is, did you mail the wrong papers to the wrong school?" I had A grades all year then ended up with a C. I like to think of that C as 'C, we are C for cunts'. I did appeal and ended up with a B. I think they knew that they made a bollock and quite a few other students made appeals too.

Johnny went through the same childhood trauma as I did. He really is a introvert. The only reason he went into acting is he needed to make money and Nick Cage suggested acting because of Johnny's looks. He is a musican first. I really think he chose some of the off the wall movies that he has done, besides liking them for their uniquness is because he wouldn't feel the pressure that you would feel making a potential block buster. He is what you see without camaflauge.

He has done some few great roles, 'Fear and Loathing' being my favorite and I liked the 'Rum Diaries' while many did not but he has soul and humor. It is no surprise Hunter S Thompson and Ricky Gervais like him BECAUSE he does not take himself too seriously and cares about others and treats them with respect. As for his 'Brit accent' which seems to bother the usual insecure dips It is because he has a lot of English influences. I too would loved to trip with Hunter and Johnny. Hunter was the greater artist than Johnny but a lesser man- I think this is why they bonded well. They appreciated what the other had to offer! And also why Johnny did his best work playing Hunter
