We should create a petition to send to the Courts and the Gov't stating "Re-teach all attorneys to not do.......... and a whole list of what not to do when you have a busy day and someone is asking you stupid questions whether it is in person or via Zoom" Attorneys (not generally) enjoy wasting valuable resources on digging up things not relevant to the case at hand and using psychological tricks to piss you off when you don't give them the answer they were looking for. Edit: I have seen these strategies before when I attended a public case years ago. There was one break after many hours of the defense attorneys pounding out and mixing up questions just to confuse the witnesses. I had a headache and went directly to the pharmacy to get something for the pain. No kidding. I was there for my friend.

Well there only hope to have the judge on their side is to make a case we’re the guy in the car seems like he really just doesn’t know and thus make his testimony void. Their only hope is to make him list off all these different things no one would be able to remember fully in the hopes to show this side of him. It’s sad that this is their main line of defense but it makes sense to a degree.

Trying to spin the narrative that because he can’t remember her clothes, makeup etc that he must not be able to remember if she had injuries or not is SO stupid! Injuries, swelling, bruising etc would stand out, normal clothing and makeup wouldn’t. Injuries are out of the norm, hence why you’d likely notice them and remember them far more so than normal dress and makeup choices. Such a pointless line of questioning that just went on and on and on 😅

They reason they ask this is to establish if he was frequently observant of her face. Which he wasn't,so then saying she didn't have any bruises is less likely to be reliable because he isn't regularly attentive to his tenants details.

I understand this guy's attitude completely. It's a total "not my monkeys, not my circus" situation. Don't know, don't care. Don't want or need to care. At my job, I don't remember anyone, unless there's something very different about them. A noxious smell, crying, sores, black eyes, horrible attitude/ verbal abuse toward myself or the people I manage... things like that. An average interaction with no special circumstances? You get no priority in my memory. Not important enough

I think the psychologist was the best so far cause she handled the attorney’s bullshit and tricks like a boss, but this guy was hilarious 😂💀

I felt like Herd’s lawyer was badgering this poor man. No one notices a woman’s makeup (least of all a man) unless it is outrageously overdone or comically smeared. On the other hand, very few/if any, persons would miss a bruise, cut, swelling, or scar. The ordinary gets ignored, the unusual gets noticed. By-the-way, has anyone else noticed that Ms H’s cheekbone makeup makes it appear to be bruised? If she is, supposedly so adept at covering bruises with makeup, she’s just as adept at designing them. It’s vengeful, money grubbing, selfish, witches like this that make it difficult for (truly battered) women to be taken seriously.

He’s not nervous or anything (which wouldn’t be a bad thing, ofc) and just openly says he’s fed up with this case, this is probably the most popular court case in the world rn, millions of people watching and he’s just chilling in his car and he drove off in his car without a seatbelt on in front of an entire room of lawyers and a judge!

So true lol. But this is a video from January 2021 - it’s a deposition he gave in preparation for the case (when the witness testifies to a room of lawyers, instead of on the stand before a judge). Usually any witnesses in court have been “deposed” beforehand, and if they give different answers from the deposition they can be charged with perjury. He seems like he really doesn’t want to be bothered about this case anymore, and he was probably able to show that he’d lose wages if he had to go to the court or something, but for whatever reason they decided not to call him to the stand.

Foundation sounds like the white paint you put on your wall before you put something else on top of it. And concealer sounds like you want to conceal stuff which are there like birth marks or pimples.

How in the hell is a man going to remember or know what kind of concealer, powder , foundation etc a woman is wearing. That lawyer is a major pain I loved it when Johnny kept laughing 😂

I so wish he'd made it sound like he at least had some memory of day to day visuals. I totally understand & love that he doesn't care what she was wearing enough to remember, but because of his English he uses the words "I don't remember" even when it doesn't quite fit & it made me worry that they'll claim he doesn't remember enough to have remembered any bruises. But we're past that now & he did a great job. What a likable character.

"you can do and be whatever you want. just need to believe in yourself and do it for you not for anyone else." a 2 minute conversation from a down to earth and genuinely friendly person. He always had a smile. He's the in real life version of the "the dude".

He can only testify on what he saw, not what he could've been staring at. Maybe she did and it was cut however. At some points you hear a lawyer objecting being cut off. This video is edited so all of the objections are cut out.

Exactly. I remember going to Walmart around 3am once about 6 years ago and there was a lady pushing a stroller that had four chicken in it. Do I remember what the woman looked like or what type of stroller? No. But I remember the chickens because it was out of the ordinary. Had it just been a baby in the stroller I wouldn't have remembered because that would be ordinary and wouldn't stand out.

I find it absolutely insane that during the path to find the truth, our system allows a team, to try and muddy the waters, and make it more difficult to find. Not only that, if someone is completely wrong and lying, the case should be thrown out. And the attorneys should be mandated reporters. But there’s no money in that now is there?

Wow. This lawyer is just exhausting. How many arbitrary questions need to be asked to establish that the guy couldn't remember details from 6 or 7 years ago. Ridiculous. It took me about 10 seconds to understand that he didn't see any marks on the date in question, but he wasn't looking for marks, so he can't say for sure. Why did it take this attorney such a long time to come to the same conclusion.

She recorded them herself, so knew exactly what she was going to say, and how she was going to sound! Is that usual practise?? I can't believe those snippets of conversation would stand up in court!

Disbarred? For what? Their job is to protect their client and they're working with what they have. Which is very, very little. Out of curiosity I looked up Rottenborn and found out he's a pretty successful and generally well-respected attorney. But how the hell do you defend someone like Heard? All her team needs to do is create reasonable doubt about the abuse and the defamation falls through. I should add that I am absolutely *not* an attorney and merely have a passing interest in the American legal system. This whole thing just doesn't come close to the worst lawyering I've seen and their line of questioning, while coming across as mean-spirited, makes sense as a strategy.

Sidenote, by Monday a bruise and swelling would be very hard to disguise - it would be very dark purple to blue/black after two days, and shiny - so with even the top end of makeup.. plus a lump would have shown. I wouldn't expect the guy to notice her clothes or makeup at the time, let alone many years later. You're right they desperate. Or working for Johnny 👍

JD's attorneys wasted only a few minutes of this man's time and used them wisely and were concise. AH's team asked the same questions three times with the same result. I know they are trying to make him look untrustworthy by giving different answers to the same question but ... His doorman, his housekeeper, his bodyguard, the psychologist etc aren't falling for it. Quite the contrary actually. They are very good at being a witness. Doesn't Amber have any witnesses? Because if she doesn't, she'll lose this case. Obviously I want Depp to win but this feels like it is too easy. I don't trust that feeling. The UK trial felt too easy and should've been won by Depp. I'm guessing the judge got some money coming his way.

As someone who was a victim in a court case before, I absolutely despise the word Objection every 3-5 seconds. Heards lawyer is really testing me in this video, why object a prerecorded video of a damn witness from over a year ago? Heards lawyer is definitely an annoying one.

If I had difficulty in sleeping I would listen to the questioning tactics of this lawyer...I believe I would sleep like a log.

That’s what I thought. They could have objected: “objection, asked and answered” a million times during his testimony but they were smart to let that train wreck play out 😂

But the defence Attorneys AH turd girls Attorneys are doing what they have been told to discuss ,even before they went in to the court room ..it's not the same as a criminal trial ..no where near the same completely different set up ..it's up to the defence Attorneys to object at every statement ,every witness statement that's not their own witness obviously ..not the same as it would be in a federal court for instance

How would they interject when it was recorded January 2021? Giant time stamp bottom right corner. And it's a deposition not a cross examination 🙄

They were just trying to stir up stuff. That's how he got dragged into this and this lawyer is causing this guy all kinds of stress and anxiety. Yes he WASN'T looking for that stuff but ANYONE would notice cuts bruising or swelling. He's right you can't hide swelling.

This guys a legend, love him he pulls off at the end wearing no seat belt 🤣 He sum it up perfectly half way through the questioning, he doesnt have any further information and is fed up of this situation, I think the whole World feel the same. The sooner Johnny's names is cleared the better, anyone with half a brain can see that Amber Turd has made up majority of her stories to play the victim and gain further fame.

This whole line of questioning gave me a headache. Witness is pure gold. I hope Mr Depp wins this.

I'm a female but this amber thing thing wanted control power a lap dog the fame money he brought she cried wolf and got caught he says he has issues he look into treatment he was broken but this b needs a damn jail cell white jacket
