Johnny Depp and Camilla Vasquez's hilarious reaction to Dr Spiegel cross-exam
Johnny Depp and Camilla Vasquez's hilarious reaction to Dr Spiegel cross-exam. Dr Spiegel's feisty cross-examination at the hands of Johnny Depp lawyer Wayne Dennison sparked some bemused reactions from the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and his start attorney. Questions about Willy Wonka and ear-pieces in particular provoked wry smiles from Depp's team.

Not exactly but he allowed and encouraged this expert to exhibit his quirks and totally diminish his credibility with his own run on pontifications as “an expert” unable to answer the most simple questions asked him directly. I actually thought this DR might of been Heard’s acting coach … who gave her guidance in how to answer questions!
This whole case was a great watch from a legal perspective. Seeing Johnny’s team was really cool. They each had a particular style, each served a purpose. Camille was the showiest and was a great choice for Amber but this attorney let the witness doom himself. Spiegel is a horrendous “expert” and I think hurt Amber’s case quite a bit

If anyone was curious about the litigation technique of letting someone hang by their own noose, this is a text book example. In cross examination you typically want to ask yes or no questions to limit and control what an expert witness would say. But this guy is so batshit crazy and fixated on his own ego that the lawyer just lets him go off on his crazy rants.
