The problem with this whole "Amber's lying constantly so she's excused because she's trying to defend a liar" thing is this. Anyone who pays attention to what you can and can't ask can start to guess if she's asking something thats hearsay, leading, no foundation, or (and even worse, recently) would break attorney client privileges. You can try to work with nothing, but it doesn't excuse you very clearly and repetitively breaking rules that you are well aware of. If she's the top in her field, it's because she's dealing with people that allow her to do things that are very clearly against the rules. If you listen to Camille, she's slowly getting very irritated. Why? You ever watch someone in your profession thats done the job likely longer than you've been alive, who is one of the top lawyers in her field, consistently and purposely disregard the rules even to the extent they're asking questions that they KNOW you can not legally answer (attorney/client privileges)? Yeah. That's Elaine right now.

All the defendant had to prove was that they had reason to believe what they printed was true. Depp knew he wouldn't win, he only brought the case about so that his story would be"heard". US laws are very similar. Where the psychopathic Heard messed-up was by putting her own name on the article that was published. He could then bring about the same case but she could not claim "I had reason to believe it be true" because she was involved in the story and therefore KNEW whether it was true or not. @@pucamisc

Domestic violence can be verbal as well as physical. So, AA could have attacked the case from the point that Johnny was more of a verbal abuser than a physical one. Johnny admitted to doing hard drugs and being an alcoholic. AA should have only focused on the fact that he "abused" her during the times he was fucked up. Then she stayed because she loved him. One of AA's biggest mistakes is thinking that people would like Amber over johnny. Sometimes, you just allow the other side to prove their case. AA tried to prove Amber's case of abuse. Why would she change her path so much? I mean, it’s not like judge is higher up on her career ladder… she is a successful lawyer working at a high end firm.
