Count the objections: Johnny Depp attorney fires back during Amber Heard re-direct

Amber Heard testified for nearly four days in her defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. After an intense cross-examination, Heard's attorney attempted to rehabilitate her testimony, but instead spent much of their questioning responding to countless objections from Depp's attorneys, most of which were sustained by the judge.

Verbal evidence, voice recordings and even real/relevant documents can still be considered hearsay. - *An out of court statement* is anything from outside the courtroom that has lack of foundation. - *Lack of foundation* is things based on exhibits not properly entered into evidence. - *Leading* is a question that implies the anser for the witness, and is only allowed under cross examination.

But, AH is actually able to maintain control after being drilled in the box, meaning she has no physiological/medical reason why she resorts to violence when she gets upset. I did expect AH to have a bit better attorney than Elaine. I realize it may be more challenging building a defense for someone so obviously guilty, but Elaine getting ripped a new one by Camile "Objection!" Vasquez should not happen with any experienced atty, esp during redirect.

Elaine "what if anything" Bredehoft was most likely fighting a losing battle with a client that insisted on getting things in that weren't allowed or did not matter. (IE ENT records without the actual ENT testifying=heresay and why Johnny would not look at her in the eyes) This was a good example of a client refusing to listen to her attorneys. Elaine Bredehoft is probably also used to depositions where you can ask leading questions and the majority of her cases never make it to trial. Bottom line is Amber lost this case for Amber.
