I'm thankful for uncles like you. The first time I met you with Davie Miller you were yelling at Jamie O'Brien at the pipe Masters you were standing on his cord and he couldn't walk away. That's when I knew my uncles were for real, no games that money goes to family. Now that I'm getting into my late 40s I'm trying to instill nose not so much aggression anymore just thankful for being near the ocean. Mahalo uncle Johnny

That must have been right after he was wearing the plaid trunks. Those plaid trunks were so cool.
I've surfed the North Shore from '87-'91.... I saw everyone. Nobody was like JBG. There was a combination of quickness and power that's never been matched before or since.

Johnny boy Gomes punched a female surfer in the face and koby abberton called him out on it and they fought three times koby beat him every time and boy Gomes conceded defeat and said respect after the third fight
