John Wesley: The Man Who Saved England

Not many people know the story of John Wesley, the man who saved England. Today we often focus on economic and military power as the ways that we can save nations. But Wesley did it by bringing about spiritual revival. When France and many other countries in Europe were plunged into chaos and terror, England took its place as the leading nation in Europe. And it was all because of this one man - John Wesley. He transformed his nation. But first, he had to be transformed himself. This is the story of John Wesley, and how he saved England.

Him and Charles Wesley were mightly used by God as the Lord remember the prayers made by their mother Susanna. I am puzzled for I am so unworthy and so fall short of the Glory of God. I have no family to rely upon and there are forces working against me from the ungodly living within the community. I certainly do not " Fit In " within the community. I continue to read Scripture and pray for guidance and discernment from the Holy Spirit with the hope that God will provide as I Trust and Obey Him and leave all Consequences unto His care. I believe people like John Wesley and many others are what made America so very blessed by God. It became a nation of Christians and that every nation every tongue and every tribe could hear the gospel here and be safe. We protected the Jews during the Holocaust as many of them came here and the natives who lived here became Christian. And that is why this country has been so blessed. But now, liberalism has crept in and evil is accepted as good so I don't see the blessing lasting much longer

When Jonah went to Nineveh after the whale deposited him on land he preached and brought revival; the City State turned towards the LORD and peace with prosperity returned to this great Empire of the Assyrians. Eventually, the later generations returned to their evil ways, got " Stiff Necked " , and 100 years later collapsed into Antiquity.

It can start with you. Please view Bobby Conners testimony of 2020 , he’s wearing a simple green shirt. He can tell you how to get it by reading the Book of Acts in New Testament . Calling on Yeshua and then introduce it to your family members. This starts one person believing on Yeshua/ Jesus Christ . Elohim’s blessings on you and your life, because your potential is great.

Thanks for this great and informative video, very useful for an introduction to Wesley and his influence. The actor plays Wesley wearing a wig, though, which he never did, against tradition at the time (unlike Charles). In common with his frugality and refusal to spend money on the trappings of privilege, John always wore his own long hair, which started out dark but, of course, became lighter as he grew older!

A brilliant tackle on the reasons for why Britain avoided the chaos of the revolutionary era. A more moral and Christ-oriented society can withstand the storms of revolution. Unfortunately with the combination of Louis XIV expulsion of Huguenots, and Voltaire’s and Rousseau’s constant rhetoric against religion, France was left open to the destruction they faced.
