    Ppl who are absolute fastidious about being perfect or unable to accept compromise are typically afraid of comparison to others, failing ir falling behind others. Starts with chaos in the home or neglect. That machine is 2100$. Whothehell can or WOULD do that in this country, when 61, 000 kids under 18y havr been hungry for 10 days or more? No. Sinful . m. Thanks for sharing your morning coffee routine. It inspires me to unlearn and fine tune my routine for greater consistent cappuccino. Would like to know more on flushing or temperature surfing before the shot. Your grinder is same as mine and espresso machine(mine is infuser) are almost identical. Does purging step at 6;07 help the machine to reach “better” optimal temp than the build in auto purge feature in Duo Temp Pro or Infuser. Thank you! Would love to see more videos from you.

    Simply ignore the negative comments from those that have no life and want to dial in all day long and love to temperature surf for minutes and minutes. Not all of us have the time or money to spend on expensive and precise machines. That’s why we have coffee shops so that you may enjoy those exceptional coffee drinks made by pros. If you are not completely crazy about espresso shots and simply like your daily cappuccino, this setup is just fine.

    Your workflow to prepare your cappuccino is the same as mine. Grind, tamp and leave aside. Prep milk, steam. Run water through machine to cool down and then come back to pulling a shot. I do this twice everyday on my Gaggia Classic Pro for my latte! The workflow is fine for 1 person. Problem comes when my gf wants a cup too, and because she doesn't drink regular milk, the workflow breaks apart! Guess I need to save up some cash for a double boiler or a heat exchanger in the future.

Thanks for the help and making awesome videos!

  • @johnholmquist9277

    @johnholmquist9277

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hey Charlie! Thanks for watching! The Infuser is a step up from this machine so you have some additional settings. Two things you could try would be to use a larger ratio, more coffee out (you may have to coarsen your grind a bit to get a decent brew time), or increase the temperature because the Infuser can be adjusted a little bit.

I got the BES840XL/A the Infuser it has a solenoid valve that releases the excess pressure and water after a brew and after a steam ... i love the center analog gauge for the head pressure ... enjoy

    I have the Barista Express. Looks like it basically works the same. Why steam first then cool down? Does this just keep the "integrity" of the crema for latte art? I personally brew then steam but I haven't practiced hard enough to pour art.

    You need balls to steam your milk first on these machines because I get nervous with every extraction I do, never know if will be a good shot consistenly
