I'm sure there were people who heard this song in the 1980s and said things like, "who is this Parr guy? Today's music sucks. Not like the good music we had with Grand Funk Railroad and Spenser Davis Group." And 40 years from now there will be someone saying, "Today's music sucks. Whatever happened to good music like Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars?" It's scary to think about but one day some 60 something year old woman is going to look back and favorably compare Justin Beiber to whatever is the most popular music of that time.

The 80's were totally awesome to the max!(*twisting gum with finger*) No cell phones, no internet, way less bullying (and if we were, we shrugged it off) students had a fear of getting caught misbehaving because the staff had control to punish them, we respected adults, we actually talked on the phone or met face-to-face to hangout with our friends, going skating, video arcades were our version of Heaven, parachute pants (lol I threw that in to see if you're paying attention), and riding around all day or hanging out at the mall with your partners in crime, was the BEST TIME EVER!! 😎 *~sigh~*
