I loved and hated and then loved again his album UH HUH. It helped me feed my family. As a professionally trained musician and weekend warrior, I covered most every number on it. The tunes were pure, not difficult to sing or the band to play. If any band played John's songs with a pure and true heart, the people responded positively, got paid then took the family out for dinner after "Sunday go to meetin' time". I'll still play his songs if the crowd asks.

I was at this show...Lol we had a SUPER GREAT TIME BOTH OFF AIR AMD DOWN STAIRS IN THE POOL N REC ROOM. A REALLY SOLID 3 HOUR SHOW LIKE JACK BLACK, TENACIOUS D AS WELL AS LEVIN BACON FOR THE INVISIBLE MAN MOVOE 2 DECADES BACK. THAT WAS FKN AMAZIMG. JACK WAS A HUGR BLOW GUY AND WE HAD A SUPER LONG NIGHT WHEN HE SAW WE WERE WHAT HE NEEDED NORTH OF THE BORDER EVEN IF KEVIN HAD HIS FREE POST SHOW FUN BY TIME HE HIT THE OLD COUGAR JOINT AD PLANNED THO TOO DRUNK TO COIGH UP SOME.DOE.FOR A LARGE REQUEST. IACK BLACK WAS ALL ABOUT IT AND HIS PAL FROM TENACIOUS D GOT MAD AND TOOK OFF ON ALL US. NOBODY NEW WHO T F HE WAS BUT OLD BALD AND NEVER FIT LIKE A YOUNGER JACK THO OLD TO US AT 19 TO 22 WITH 5 GALS BY NIGHT'S END AT LINCH HOUR WHILE DRINKING ON A BOAT ON LAKE ONTARIO WHERE WE PASSED OUT UNTUL THE NEXT LATER NIGHT WHILE Jack started up again.
