I appreciate this sermon, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with no guarantees to live, I went thru chemotherapy, radiation treatment two major surgeries, Jesus went thru far worst than this vessel, im not perfect falling short of the glory of God, I repented and now 12 years later, cancer free, I now share the Gospel to others, im praying for everyone

God’s got you. ♥ I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZread started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

This preaching brought me tears and led me to repentance and surrender to God's sovereignty over the sudden death of my husband who was a pastor in January 17, 2022. Nothing had prepared me for it. I was angry at why God didn't heal him while in the ICU for 28 hours. I wasn't even able to say goodbye. I felt that my faith in His healing power was betrayed. I waited for 3 hours, after he was clinically declared by the doctors, in his bed for Jesus to bring back my husband's life. I got bitter when it didn't happen and I questioned His love and faithfulness. This preaching has rebuked me and I acknowledge God, in His sovereignty, allowing such death to happen. I don't know exactly on how to move on but I trust God to take care of me. Since my husband died, life as a widow became so difficult. Thank you for posting this sermon. This was 7 years ago but God is using this for me now.

@@lumberjaxe8910 Mother Teresa (Agnes) was the personification of evil. She opened ''hospitals'' but just left the sick and dying laying on the floor. She offered no help or treatment. She maintained their suffeing would bring them closer to God. Meanwhile, she received millions of dollars, much of it unaccountable from tyrants and despots. She used the money in her own teatment so that she would not suffer.

Recently I have been pulled from a false teaching and have found John MacArthur. This sermon answers questions that others have not been able to answer. I'm so glad we have his teachings here on YT.

Voddie Baucham has always given powerful , precise Sermons on the basics of our Christian Faith , but rejects the Rapture and everything that will be going on during those 7 years in Heaven.. Kent Hovind has fed me with an enormous amounts of Creation Evangelism . But not totally convinced He's embracing the Rapture also.... And then there's the question of "Old Earth/Gap Theory ". That He embarrassingly shames fellow Believers that ponder the possibility , who not just by curiosity , but with Scriptural Evidence.... All of them are Great Men of God... And we must except our difference's... Until we are made known the WONDERS of GOD

@edwardtelles1956 yeah for sure, John honestly just goes by the bible, and honestly I've heard that but I still don't understand what calvinism exactly is. But I'm sure it's just some sort of pointless label for a certain theological area

Watching this in January, 2024. Thank you Pastor John MacArthur for the very answer to this question that many people including myself have wondered about. I was crying and felt so touched by your message. May God bless you with many more years of preaching.

I love God, because I became 90% Paraplegic at home in Scotland 68 years ago, but God brought me three people who lent me their strength and taught me to walk at the age of 4 years in two full length callipers. My Mother whose work and patience gave me a fighting spirit, and our local Highland ministers Sister, who used the laying on of hands to give me the strength to win in that ability to walk. The Orthotic engineer who built me the power in steel and leather to stand up and all those who came after them to this day. Finally God gave me a wife who would not let me stop fighting to keep going. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

I'm so sorry to hear. I'm in a similar situation. Except I cannot get a job because I have too many health issues, I'm currently waiting for a kidney and pancreas transplant. Nothing of this illusory realm of existence matters to God, as God only knows that of itself, and illusion and mesmerism are not of God, so no, God Consciousness doesn't know us as an illusory human being even exists, so our car payments, illnesses, troubles, failures and woes do not matter at all. There's no greater horror than to leave one's mind to the dualistic, carnal nature of this illusory world. When Christ Consciousness through Jesus spoke of SATAN, he was speaking of the Human Carnal Mind, and it's world of mental illusions and mesmeric beliefs. It's illnesses, cares, worries, lies, beliefs, and so on.... We must let the Splendor of God Consciousness to Pour Forth and Live It as Jesus did once he Recognized the Truth that the Father/God is Omnipresent, Infinite Consciousness!! The presence of God Consciousness in me is the presence of God Consciousness in you.... The recognition of God in us helps us to ultimately recognize the same in all things. And the recognition of God in my enemy ultimately makes my enemy my ally.... The function of Christ Consciousness that Unfolded from the Consciousness of Yeshaya(jesus) is to relieve us of the belief of Two powers(good and evil), and to recognize that Life is not created, Life unfolds. This means that God is always the same. The same yesterday as today and tomorrow.....God Unfolds, God Does Not Create!! Perfection needs to create nothing!! There isn't God AND Man.....There is Only God AS Man. Because of this dualistic belief we pray the way we do, i.e. asking for things, healings, etc. With the realization we are God experiencing awareness AS each and every one of us, we will come to understand that there is nothing or nobody to ask anything of or for. "The Kingdom of God is spread out all over the world, men just don't see it...." Supply, Sufficiency, Health, Love, all things of God are right where we stand. Our prayers should only be the recognition that we embody these truths. Asking God for anything, regardless of what it is, is sitting directly in the middle of the Two Powers of the illusory mind of man. So we must sit in silence listening for the still small voice of God to make itself known, and then we must free it from its prison of our human beliefs in order for it to escape and be Christ AS Each One of us!! Psalm 23....The Prayer of IS, to the mind with Spiritual Discernment(the only way to understand the Bible) says....(I DONT HAVE TO ASK GOD FOR ANYTHING, BECAUSE HE/I IS ALL. I NEED NOT BEG AND PLEAD FOR THE MERCY OR THE GRACE OF GOD BECAUSE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WHERE I STAND). Acknowledge God in all ways. Acknowledge that God is ALWAYS HERE, whether I make my bed in hell(living in the illusory materialistic mind) or I dwell in Heaven(living as Christ Consciousness), God will never leave me nor forsake me.... God is manifest as the very life of our being....God Already IS, and our prayers should indicate this!! There's no pleading to God. Prayer should only be a declaration of God's Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Infinite Self.....! Our True Spiritual Self!! If we keep this in our thoughts at all times, this word of truth which is alive in each of us, it will externalize itself as our health, our supply, our home, our friends, our love for all others as ourselves, etc, etc....

@@colinjava8447 I will try to answer to the primary comment! I think through KZread he found this sermon and this sermon spoke to his heart, his inner being! That’s I believe he found God. To answer why he allow suffering? Because we are living together with the fallen angels such Satan. Satan confuses the people in many ways and that includes suffering, he allows it to display his Glory, Power and Sovereignty! If everything is perfect to you, would you need God? Health is perfect, you are rich etc etc just perfect! And with perfect world you don’t need God who is sovereign!

I praise the Lord for John MacArthur. I pray God keeps him healthy and in the pulpit, and gives him the full 120 years on this earth. He is a wonderful gift from God.

First time watching this Pastor and as a 72 years old evangelical/charismatic Christian not only was I blessed to hear sound doctrine, great examples in teaching and informing his flock of the dangers of false doctrine; but I LOVE his sense of humor, which confirms that "the joy of the Lord is our strength!" And an added note: " God takes o pleasure in the death of the wicked."(Ezekiel 18:23) Well done, my brother and thank you, sir! 💞🌹🙋

Watched this again yesterday. I'd watched it years ago, and it makes so much sense. The late Dr. Sproul would say that on this side of eternity, we'll never understand these things fully, but when we see the culmination of God's plan for His glory in eternity, we'll 100% understand and know that it couldn't have been any other way. Wow.

Study History and some original scripture which is in Hebrew. Where is the Way, Truth and Life? Well in messiah and His true name is YAHUSHA the Ha Mashiach. Names don't change in Language. Spelling does because it's a different language, but pronouncing does not change. Research the origins of the name ''Jesus'' and see how it is ''Jee Zeus'' the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek as well as ''earth pig'' in Latin. Research what ''Lord'' means and ''God'' as well. Why in the KJV is there ''Name of the LORD'' all over the place when ''LORD'' is not a name? Why is there ''LORD'' in caps and ''lord'' in lowercase? Because KJ took His name out. Research that and Pray for understanding. Messiah walked the earth as a dark skinned Hebrew man ''Yahusha'' not a white man named Jesus. The Scriptures have been watered down much over the years by the enemy who is the god of this world, satan and he knows the Scriptures better than anyone except the Almighty YAHUAH Himself. Many books have been taken out as well. Salvation is in the blood of Yahusha who is YAHUAH in the flesh. YAHUAH is the Name of the Almighty and His Name is very important just as the Scripture speaks. Those few truly born again obey the Torah just as messiah spoke and are not in religion. Those two plus billion christians can't fully obey it because they are just in religion and not filled with the true Ruach (Spirit) of Elohiym Almighty. Christianity is Truth mixed with lies. Many are called and FEW are chosen. Fear and Obey YAHUAH the Almighty whose name is written in mankinds DNA and History and Original Text.

There aren’t many who can/will articulate such a difficult and loaded question. He also leaves room for us to ponder this great question without leaving us feeling assaulted by prideful arrogance. “The Spirit searches all things, yeah the deep things of God.”

Yes, there is a reason. Everything has to do with karmic retribution. Death does not hurt, life does. We are here to suffer to redeem ourselves for the sins of our past lives. Jesus and Buddha both informed us of reincarnation but in the case of Jesus, the R. C Church removed any mention of reincarnation in the fourth century, that's all folks.

Death doesn’t hurt? Tell that to the guy who lays in bed for 3 days with 3rd degree burns and then dies. There is no mention of reincarnation in any of the scriptures that were effectual 4000 years before the Catholic Church ever existed. Yes, the RCC is a false church, but it hasn’t suppressed any reincarnation scriptures. The scriptures are the only reliable source of God’s truth. There is no nirvana and no reincarnation.

Saying, “there is no God” doesn’t make Him any less angry with you. It might make you feel better, but it’s like putting a bandaid on a wart, you can cover it up but it doesn’t fix the problem. “God is angry with the wicked every day”

God made man to sin. According to the Bible story in Genesis there is no way possible that it could be humans fault for anything. Humans didn't create themselves. Religion is really stupid. It has been really effective at mind control I'll give it that. Oh and any being that would create a place like Hell to punish for all eternity is the real monster.

Ive been ill since 2018 and it got worse after getting covid. Prior to that period... The first prayer i asked was to give me good health. I didnt askeed for material things yet God gave me the opposite. Its okay God....the faith of the Son of God in me trust you.

I need prayer. Fervent prayer. I’m currently battling a health issue. I know 100% God is able and willing to heal. Jesus already paid the price. I’m not seeing results for a reason. I don’t know God’s plan. When you’re in the crusher, it’s really hard to see beyond where you’re at.

I am so glad that through the Grace of God, i discovered this pastor because i feel that he preaches God's gospel they way it should be taught, not adding nor subtracting anything to the truth. He also quotes verses in the Bible to backup everything he is teaching. I truly pray that God blesses you for all your good work. I love you as God's servant. If you were to ask God the time where you are now, there could be only one response which is accurate, therefore God must be bound by time. Time is nothing more than the observation of change - therefore God could not create it - it is not a thing.

Depression... is just a choice. YOU ‘choose life or death’, YOUR mind must be renewed (Rom12:2, 2Cor10:4,5, 11:3). God 'limited' Himself, Ps78:41. About ‘sovereignty’, the worst religious doctrine⁉️ Often religion mixes the Old and the New Covenant (or, ‘Testament’) and encourages performance (change from the outside in!) instead of grace through faith, and has done much harm in history. But maybe the biggest heresy of religion, which is preached possibly in 99% of the churches, is the wrong concept of ‘sovereigty’. God (in the NT) is not the source of evil, sickness, tsunamies, drugsabuse, etc! He also does not “allow” this to “educate” you. LIES of hell! God is only good ✝️❤️ “I believe this is the worst doctrine that is working in the Body of Christ today” that completely negates the trust that 'God is a good God', Andrew Wommack. If you believe that God made you sick, why would you go to the doctor, to get rid of sickness, trying to get out of God’s will? Jesus said, ‘You hypocrites... you are if you think and do these things’, Mark 7. Well okay, don't try medicine; let sickness abound in you! God 'gave it to you' (?), teach you a lesson'(?), 'God must have a purpose with my sickness(?). What a shame for God when you listen to the accuser, and think you have no responsibility now.

Hallelujah, indeed! Just pure praises to you Lord!! At the one hour mark- I had the urge to go out of my room and bow down to praise God because of what He has done and what He is doing. I praise you Lord for all that you've done, you will forever have my praises- and soon of my household. I was already in tears just thinking about His everlasting greateness. Now no one can take this love away that I have for you- you have changed me God.. for eternity. HALLELUJAH!!

I wish we had him in Australia. We have been overtaken by evangelical churches and Pentecostal churches founded by paedophiles (Hillsong Church) with greed, arrogance and a celebrity culture where kids and some adults worship the pastors instead of God the father, son and Holy Spirit. Really sad and my daughter is caught up in the sexuality and sexting that takes place between pastors.

Truth, reality, AND nature/natural experience go hand in hand.

Two nights ago I dreamed of a black sky, no stars, no light. A small box shape, also black, began to be lifted from the other side. It was opened maybe one third of the way, I saw a hand pulling it back and a face began to appear telling me "I am Jesus, do not worry". I'm paraphrasing because words weren't said aloud, just inside my mind. The small part I could see including a partial glimpse of Jesus's face was bright and shining. That's all I remember. I felt calm when I woke up. Tonight this video appeared on my tv screen as KZread did it's thing and played video after video. Thank you, but most of all, Thank God....

I shut my mouth like Job , I have no right to even question God about suffering . God loved the World so much that He gave His only begotten Son , That who so ever shall believeth in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life. Glory to God , the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit for all of eternity. Praise the Lord in Jesus name for ever and ever . In Jesus Sweet name Amen !!!

Thank you Jesus for being God, Raining with All Knowing, All Wisdom , All Power ,in Righteousness, in Love, Mercy and Grace, Thank you Jesus !

And I feel sorry for you. John is a Calvinist who makes you doubt about your salvation Jesus promised. Anything that makes you doubt your salvation comes from evil itself. Read your Bible and do not rely on anyone’s interpretation. This is how many people fall into Jehova’s witness and many other cults who comes to you in God’s name but lead you to hell.

God has not done this to her, MEN did this to her, with their claims of what is natural for us to consume, and her belief in what a human with a white coat tells her to eat, instead of learning from God\Mother nature themselves. to be more specific: stop cooking your food and start eating raw animal products, cancer is a mutation in your body that eats sugar and needs no air, fibre carbs and sugars are all sugars, stop eating men made poison and men made plants, mother nature tells you that, you're an apex-predator, start acting like one.

I was involved in some dangerous situations where I could have been killed, but for the Grace of GOD. Never cared for any of them. Jesus Christ is my Personal Teacher, and the littlest things He has taught me are so far beyond all the carnally minded bullshit of your "heroes" there is only contrast, no comparison whatsoever. The only thing this guy does is show me just how damned foolish men have become over the years. They really think they are so educated and smart, but they are so damned DULL it amazes me. Truly God has sent strong delusion to all these people you think are "great teachers" and to you also. I am in awe of how greatly and effectively God's delusion sent to you people make you look so stupid that you cannot even count to three! At least two reasons. 1) God gives free will. If you make a decision, you live with the consequences. Good decisions, good results, bad decisions, bad consequences. 2) For believers, God uses testing for believers to achieve spiritual growth. A Christian's life is NOT expected to be a bed of roses. God wants believers to be more Christlike in their everyday life. He periodically gives tests and trials to believers in order for them to apply the lessons that they have learned.

Just like cold is the absence of heat, darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence of love and Our Father IS LOVE. 💕 ❤ Does love exist? Absolutely!

If people would worry more about being a better person for GOD and not trying to play GOD i think this world would be a better place for everyone. thank you and have a nice day.

There is always the yin and yang to balance the power of forces of the Universe. But God created us to overcome evil if we are confronted with. We know from our own personal experiences that this is possible if we trust fully in God and remain faithful to Him and accept that ultimately He can help us. PTL. Men is driven by lust which is sin and death. This goes back to the creation of heaven and earth. When Finally God has to sacrifice His Son, Jesus, to save those want to return to God and praise Him always. Help me Lord to understand and place ourselves in Thy care. With our return to praise Thee, Evil will retreat to darkness and the depth of abbey so tha You God will control everything again. T Q the Eternal Lord and God and Spirit, You are totally in charge again. Amen.

Repent, Confess, and Believe in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, his dying on the Cross for the sins of the world. And then you STOP sinning and walk in newness like Christ Jesus. And tell everyone that asks you for a reason for your Joy. You can then tell them God has made a way for us to come before him without our sin attached to us through the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

I hope this blesses some... 🙏 I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. ✝️🔥😊 *Keep believing even when it's hard* 🙏❤️🔥 *All things are possible with God*

Reformed theology is cancer! There is a church that never needed reforming. Follow the trail of martyrs and you’ll find that Baptists have always been there and have always been separated from any denomination, rejected the RCC and papal heresy. If you accept any kind of Protestantism or reformation you are tying yourself to the Catholic Church, historically. There are denominations called Baptist but they are just using a name. I digress. Calvinist doctrine is wrong Armenian doctrine is wrong! Bible doctrine is right! Did you know that mcarthur defends his statement that Christ did not need to shed any blood to save humanity. This is contrary to the Bible. “ for there IS NO remission of sin without the shedding of blood” This man is a well spoken heretic.

We need more people and more churches speaking of these things. Thank you for speaking truth. I really, really, really appreciate it. Ook me 3 years to figure out what was happening to me. And you're right, this is a wicked generation. But I will Louise hope and I will not fear evil for that's what God told me to do. Yeah, I do have some fear, but, yeah, I'm comforted. Knowing God's for god is even stronger than satan.

I really enjoyed and resonated with this teaching. I think one of mankind's desire to revise God is the wish to escape responsibility for our own actions, beliefs and behaviors. If God takes ownership for good and evil and we want to please him, we must do likewise. And this is where the cognitive dissonance begins.

I am so thankful for my ability to listen to this podcast. The mighty God leaves me in awe and my heart swells with gratefulness .

Some say the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are one. Then how can Jesus sit on the right hand of the Father There is no mention of the word trinity in the KJV?

This sermon is meat to my soul! I pray may God use His word that I just heard thru this great servant to another servant that God to allow these word and apply them into my heart and act accordingly to His will. I have a grandson who was in a car accident on Christmas Day. He was only 4 yrs.old he’s 15 now. He is paralyzed from the waist down. It’s harder then ever now that he a teenager. I, grandma have not been able to except this even though it’s been 11yrs. Does that make me a bad person? I am a true believer, but I still can’t get over why this had to happen to an innocent child. I watched him Christmas Morning and running around in his little ninja custom and then this happened.

How strange that the covid pandemic is shortly after this sermon. Thank you ,Jesus, for my salvation. Christianity is not blind faith. It is the only faith that makes sense. I’m so grateful that I saw the Truth, even as a sinner.

It is noticeable that science found ways to reduce the effects and save lives, while those Christian churches that carried on praying together died in large numbers. What you are saying is that you will ignore reality for the right to keep giving your money to the con man at the front of the church.

Grateful this popped up in my feed. This man speaks the Truth. There is only one God. Our Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ 🙏 Share the Gospels and your testimony to others.

Acts 20:29 I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, 30 and from AMONG YOU YOURSELVES men WILL RISE and SPEAK TWISTED THINGS to draw away the disciples after themselves. (More disciples in modern terms means more subscribers). 2 Timothy 4:3 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will SURROUND THEMSELVES WITH TEACHERS TO HAVE THEIR EARS TICKLED. 4 They will TURN AWAY from listening TO THE TRUTH and give attention to false stories. It means that people will hang onto 'teachers' who tell them WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR. The truth isn't important. Someone has to fulfill these prophecies, logically.

Sorry but you have not found the truth . This man does not preach but a very watered down gospel message at best. Sadly that is very much a common message these days. Jesus provided so much more then this man declares in preaches. Jesus made healing very easy to receive when one understands the laws governing faith. Laws like gravity. Saved or not if you violate that law both will get the same result. If you are not seeking God with all your heart your most likely not going to find him. Their are only a few ministries I know of that really make available teaching that will correctly guide people to a full understanding of Gods word.

@@burtcooper612 those verses are proof that gentiles even though they did not have the laws were guilty before God then Paul proceeds to prove to the Jews that because they have the law are even more guilty then gentiles. Paul is essentially proving that Jews and gentiles are in the exact same boat and need a savior. Most Jews at that time and even today many people believe that keeping the law will save you.

When I was in the seventh and eighth grade at school, my science teacher was a Mormon. He never told me about his religion. He was always respectful and helpful if l had questions about the school work. He was my favorite teacher. I always made an A in his class.

Because we have the RESPONSABLITY to choose to live a decient clean life,and reject our own evil ,as much as possible,but knowing we are weak ,there was need for Jesus ,to give us a way out, of our own evil desires,and actions of what we did to others

He’s speaking on the influenza virus that killed about 100 million & saying it’s a dangerous place to live. We’re in a similar season. Lord helps us please end this pandemic, we need you, mercy God.💖
