John Farnham never sang a rogue note nor sung out of key ever during his illustrious career, whether it be in the studio or live, he it every note perfectly, every time. Proud to be Australian when you have artists like these representing you country.

One of the best Aussie pop songs of all time. Instant ear appeal, beautifully executed, suitably unsophisticated in presentation, and gets you hooked from the first 10 bars. John at the peak of his prodigious powers.

Suesmallville. I'm listening. Only been listening for about a year. But I play Farnsey videos every day, many times. Not just his performances but the documentaries, interviews, clips from his tv sitcom, stage shows,.... the lot. He's top of my favourite singers list. Just wish I could have seen him live. Feb'24. UK. E ❤

I was in Bunnings the other day, which is like a hardware store in NZ, and this song came on and I was singing and dancing while I was looking for a staple remover lol people were looking at me like I was strange but I didn’t care! This song evokes so much joy and a light happy mood. Love it!

In terms of sheer vocal range, control, warmth and the ability to sing any lyric flawlessly, I can think of only a few singers in John's league. The guy is incredible. As good as Freddie, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Marvin Gaye...et al

Growing up in the great 70's and 80's music era in Oz, I have to admit that I did not really take to JF at the time, but this is just brilliant, thank you also Human Nature, the harmonies are bliss.

Believe me, you have not really experienced John's voice until you see him live in concert. He sent shivers down my spine, seriously, yes he is one of Australia's biggest singers and we have a lot more that have never got airplay overseas as well.

Agree 100% Sharon! And he seems to be getting better if anything. I was amazed at the huge effortless notes in 'Touch of Paradise' when he came to Auckland a few years ago - got my tickets for his next show in March 19. Love Farnsey.

Human Nature were so young....saw them in Las Vegas last year...just awesome they are still as terrific as they were when they were young

Love this song. Modern doo woop. Farnham brilliant as usual. Nice background vocals from human nature. They sing acapella beautifully, I've seen there wegas shows on you tube. There version of Smokey Robinson's song called ,baby baby is fantastic. And they performer it live in front of him. And he just loved it.

Far out Farnham's voice is unbelievable.

I didn't even know who Human Nature was until I saw this vid. Now I'm a firm fan. Of course, I didn't know who John Farnham was until I was looking for vids of LRB and found one with John in it. I am now a firm fan of his too.

I love listening and watching John Farnham but I come back to this clip to see the sadly departed Bruce Mansfield. He was and still remains an iconic Melbourne person.

I've been lucky enough to have seen John in concert twice and Human Nature once. Hopefully I'll seen them many more times before they were all amazing shows. No antics, pyrotechnics, or half naked dancers. Just charisma and pure talent.

I love him singing this song and all his other ones that he has either composed or sang that other people have written for him that he is well known for like burn for you, (he composed it along with 2 other people) age of reason, your the voice. Thinking of this gorgeous mans health of late is heartbreaking I hope if and when he is up to it that we hear from him in some capacity doesnt have to be singing can even just be him talking If im down listening to Johns voice is calming and uplifting the warmth, power and control as well as his love of singing is evident. Ive never had the absolute pleasure or honour to hear him live as i live in Ireland but the next best thing is watching him on KZread or living to his cd. Probably Australia's greatest singing talent in the last 50 years - he should have tried the USA and Europe - a talent like this is just wasted on a tiny Market like Australia. I remember him as a 18 year old, just after he hit the headlines with "Sadie the Cleaning Lady" coming to my shoe stand at Victoria Market, asking if I stocked any Beatle Boots - sorry Jonny that I disappointed you then; and it a pity that you wound up a Big Fish in a Small Market when you could have been a Big Fish In a BIG Market. Anyway your singing is great and you are great.

Agreed Josh. Not just the past 50 years, but for all time. John was born in England and did a bit of work overseas - stared in Pippin and wowed an audience in the old country singing Help that I remember way back. They were astonished because they thought they'd uncovered a new world class talent. Human Nature are wonderful here as well.

He did do Europe... and crushed it ... but he didnt do the USA because b4 whispering jack ... Johnny nearly lost everything he was broke ... his manager morgaged hos house to get that album out and it worked out but he said it wasn't worth the gamble to go do a USA tour they last for years and he would never risk it all and put his family back in that position ever again.
