This Australian artist was a God-gifted singer, and I think his music has been underrated worldwide compared to other artists of his era.

Im an aussie born wog / turk and i grew up to this legend. Makes me proud to be a Aussie. I dont know anything else. The 80s in australia were paradise to me. I miss the old days 😢 Australia is not the same anymore. Damn the internet.

One of the greatest singers the world has ever seen. He is up there with Whitney, Mariah, Freddie Mercury.

Lost mum in Nov 2022, to cancer. She loved John Farnham, and being his age she grew up with his music. Just after mum passed, dad heard this on the radio and just broke down. We played it at mum's funeral, not a dry eye in the house. Even now I'm weeping. John mum loved your music and shared that love with me (50), you crossed generations with your music. Thank you.

One of the very few artist who sound just as good if not better than his recordings when singing live. He puts so much more emotion into live performances. It would be hard to find an artist at 74 years old whose voice sounds as good and as powerful as when he was young. John Farnham - Aussie Legend.

Love this. My mother died in October 2023. John is known affectionately as Mr Australia. Such a great singer. Legend. I am 51. Mum was 76 when she passed and is missed terribly. She adored his music. Me too. New Zealander here x.

It’s sad these guys are getting to thei 70 and have health issues there won’t be music like them in our lifetime he is exceptional such a good soul and spirit too love and light John Farnham

they don't make them like this anymore , Farnham is a legend , Genuine humble music artist , who only wanted for people to come and enjoy his music , an amazing voice with songs that have REAL meaning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the US and have never been outside the US. I, also, have a great fear of crossing great bodies of water. However, if I had known about John years ago, I would have made it a point to come to Australia to see at least one concert. And brought my Dad and Brother, who love voices and music as much as I do.

At 2:24 there is a feeling that moves and chills all the hair on the body. This guy's vocal range is amazing. #JFLegend

Honored to have him as a fellow aussie, he was always a hilarious regular guest on 'Hey Hey it's Saturday| and the fact he can belt out tunes like this is just a bonus

I was living in the UK when in September 1986, "Your the Voice" was released. It reached number 6 in the UK charts and i loved that song. John didn't have any other hits in the UK and It wasn't until a few years later that i migrated permanently to Australia and i soon realised how much of a local talent John Farham was. And this track "Touch of Paradise is my all-time favourite tracks of John's. It raises such emotions within me and brings me to tears. THANK YOU, JOHN, FOR A LIFETIME OF JOY LISTENING TO YOUR AMAZING VOICE & YOUR NATURAL TALENT!! 💕💕

Special scents and songs have always been able to transport me back to a moment in time, this song is definitely one of those, peek hour on punt rd hill, nightmare at the time, but I’d give anything to be back there now. Get well soon John.

John rules now and forever, so glad he got to go through this period when he had the world on a string. (Only through his hard work ,and his unbelievable talent) But I'm just as glad to see him perform in those years before the pandemic. Now I look forward to seeing him again, because I know when the audience, fires up he will take it to another place as only he can do. Still The Voice.

i've been de-stressing on a cold July the 3rd day in 2022 in Australia. The previous song i listened to was Mondo Rocks , Primitive Love Rights, also co-written by Ozzie Legend Ross Wilson. 2 Fantastic songs , absolute poles apart in style, content and intent . What a Legend Ross Wilson is / was .

Last thing at night - turn out the light, and watch John Farnham concert clips. Every night. That's paradise every night. 13.10.23. UK. E❤

Kudos to Ross Wilson for writing (yet another) great song. I love Mondo Rock's original version too. But John obviously has 'the voice'. His version really shines, especially around the 2:25 mark.
