Your Journey with Farnham is beginning! The three rules of Farnham. 1 Live performances only. 2 Only live performances. 3 If you can't find a Live version - look again 🤣! Thanks for the reaction.

Empress, 73 yr old John Farnham underwent cancer surgery today (24 August 2022), to remove a tumour in his mouth / cheek. Early reports are that it has been successful and prior to undergoing the operation, John was seen laughing and cracking jokes with the hospital staff. Ever the optimist, I like thousands of others, wish John a speedy recovery and a cancer free future. I have been in that place and in remission, so my heart felt thoughts are with him and his family.

It was the end of that encore, not the concert. He came back out after Help for another encore to sing Sadie and It's a Long Way to the Top. That high energy AC-DC classic was the actual end of the concert.

This version always brings tears to my eyes no matter how many times I see it. Such stage presence, rapport with the audience vocal ability & range. John has so much talent. And he's such a nice bloke & always a larrikin. And you can see he's having so much fun. Just think all this energy he's showing is in the encore at the end of his show. Great performance. He has many many songs for you to react to You're the Voice & Touch of Paradise are great & many duets with other great musos, especially When Something is Wrong with My Baby with Jimmy Barnes. Lovely reaction💕

John Lennon (writer) heard John farnham's version of help, and loved it, he said he wanted to sing it slow when they first recorded it. The record execs back then, said it needed to be more upbeat.

oh wow! Firstly you got the pronunciation for Melbourne correct first time. Farnham is a very much loved singer here and he made it really big in 1986 when he launched the Whispering Jack album. He followed these up with Two Strong Hearts 1988 and Chain Reaction 1990 albums. My favourite Farnsey songs are Touch of Paradise and Age of Reason - hope you can check these out one day. People often say he is better watched in live concert then soundtrack video so look for a live version if you can. Can I suggest if you want to do a joint reaction with your sister, mother, or friend then try Farnham / Jimmy Barnes / Diesel "when something is wrong with my baby". Cheers from Melbourne!

He is an amazing singer, humanitarian and an absolutely amazing human being- he helped other singers, musicians, gave his time wholeheartedly for many charities. He was not egotistical, he would use his talent to help others. I am 70 he is 73, and feel so lucky that I lived in this era where I experienced John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes and their ilk! I feel sorry for people who haven’t heard their music and voices!

John Farnham (don't pronounce the h). Australian treasure. His Amazing Grace is spine tingling. Tina Turner heard this version of Help and liked it so much she recorded it herself. John has a body of work from the sixties through to now. Try his When Something Is Wrong With My Baby with fellow legend Jimmy Barnes.

Now that you have reacted to one Australian singing legend perhaps you would like to react to another try Stone Cold by Jimmy Barnes featuring Joe Bonamassa. Jimmy Barnes is a Scottish born Australian singer who began as the front man for the great Australian band Cold Chisel in the early seventies at the age of 17 he then went solo in the early eighties and is still going strong today.
