Thanks for sharing all this information! Never would've known that it was O ring 113.

JD parts used to actually list the o ring size in the description. I am sure they changed it so you could have 5 times more.

Great video. I think I damaged the internal o-ring on one of my implement quick connects on my 99 powerking. Never changed one, but seems very similar. Thanks!

Most garden tractor use the Pioneer 4000 series hyd couplers so they should be the same.

My father just handed over his x575 to me. I have two issues to figure out. When idling it’s pulsing but if I slide the choke up some it smooths out. Can you do a video of the Governor spring you mentioned? Wondering if that could be my issue. Also, can you raise and lower the mower the deck when the x45 bucket is attached? I can’t figure out how to raise and lower the deck with the bucket on this thing. Sorry if that’s a dumb question, never owned one of these things and I want to try and restore some of the things on this tractor! Thank you!!

The carburetor problem sounds like to needs be cleaned. Before removing to clean, I would try so Seafoam in the gas before removing the carb. The rockshaft cylinder to raise and lower the deck, uses the same hydraulic circuit as the loader curl. When you connect the loader hydraulics, it is in parallel with the rockshaft cylinder. You have to disconnect the loader curl to use the rockshaft cylinder. There is normally a rockshaft lockout valve installed on the hydraulic valve to block flow when using a loader. You could install a lockout valve on the loader curl line so the rockshaft would work. It would be a manual solution to the problem. I did on one of my loaders.

The lever for the rockshaft/mower is used all of the time. The UP/Down Float is only used with a loader or front blade etc. This valve can be stuck from not being used. Take a hammer and try taping the rod into the valve and pull it out a few times. You may also need to remove the end cap and clean the detent balls. Spray it down with a LOT of penetrating oil like Kroil.

Are you sure "908" is the right number for that O-ring??? Nobody has that number

908 is correct. I ordered them off eBay. The complete description is "AS568-908 RR787 O Ring 75 Duro Black FMK." I have a bag of them in my hand.
