Thanks for the video. I got a log stuck in a deck on a x595 and this video helped. I’ve got the 72” and it’s a bit heavier than it looks man.

Glad it helped. I am going to add a video showing how to straighten a bent deck when I have some time.

Nice job. The finished product looks good. I have the same deck on my X740 and I probably need to go through it like you did on this one.

This was the fourth 62C deck I overhauled. I also did many of the older 54C and 60 decks for the 4X5 tractors. The old 60 decks were the absolute best.

Nice job. I just today ordered a buford bucket from your brother Pete.

You will love the Buford Bucket. I cut down a very large tree this morning and the Buford Bucket makes the cleanup real easy.

good job on the video and the deck,, keep em coming,,I'm having a heck of a time with my Temp gauge and Water Pump, X485, Think I will just replace the Pump and Thermostat that way I will know they are both working.

I am working on a video for repairing the X Series instrument clusters. Temp gauge problems can be caused by bad solder connections in the instrument cluster.

@@gotdeeres Would love to see that one, both of mine are not working, I removed the fender and found the ground wire was disconnected, but fuel gauge still shows full, I did get the water pump and thermostat working so I know the water is circulating now and I won't burn the motor up, It is fun trying to restore the old lawn tractor, your videos are very helpful, Regards and "HAPPY HOLIDAYS"

Where do you get the aftermarket parts for a John Deere tractor

It depends on the part. More common aftermarket parts can be found on e$bay just by searching on the OEM JD part number. You can also just do a search with the JD part # and they will appear. Things like belts , alternators, and USED parts are mostly available.

I have my BB on an X595.The Front Wheel Assist makes it the best loader tractor I have ever had. The X758 is basically the same, just newer.

Yes the X595 diesel is a awesome tractor as well. I'm very excited to get my buford bucket.
