I boxed on the same show as Billy at Lewisham in the 80s and I trained at the Wellington alongside John. Both are nice Scousers with their Scouse humour!

1st 18 fights at hw until Ali told him he was too light and should move down to lhw

Conteh would have made a pretty good light heavyweight..
