It was a known fact that John Conteh was genuine world class. He was an Elite fighter. Britain just didn’t produce elite fighters., certainly not in the seventies. John Conteh was no saint, he enjoyed life. How great could he have been. Well imagine if he’d lived his life like a saint, then maybe unbeaten during a decade. That’s how good John Conteh was

Good fighter but he never met most of the best names around at 175 during his time (Eddie, Galindez, Pops Johnson etc.) and the one he did face, Saad, beat him twice. The most interesting thing is that Usik played football, the beginning of his career in the Ukrainian Championship! then switched to boxing! and of course a huge flop made in his career and the technique of his boxing is Lomachenko senior! @@Punchdrunk_Critic Jeff Horn was a world champion too, B class fighter himself. I respect Bellew for what he's done with what he possesses, but at the end of the day he isn't a top level fighter. He does a very good job of selling himself

Yeah, Tony has been doing A LOT of chatting lately. Anyone who thinks Usyk is going to rush in 'like an amateur' has NO IDEA what they're talking about and have resorted to guessing. Bellew is a solid boxer and a good guy. But Usyk is another altogether... he's a masterclass boxer and is going to work and and work and work Bellew into frustration and mistakes, Usyk will do to Bellew what Bellew did to Haye. Look at what Usyk did to the cruiserweight division in the Super Series, they were all hard-as-nails warriors and Usyk schooled them all. Bellew knows this, this is why he's taking the fight SO SERIOUSLY (unlike his little fans)

@@Punchdrunk_Critic Keep chatting... you're only convincing yourself. Wilder is a cherry picking duck, quit guessing... you say 'assumptions are the mother of all fuck ups' and you go and do exactly that. Zero credibility, no one is buying your BS.

@@Punchdrunk_CriticAint nobody writing bellew off he's got the punchers chance but usyk has the reach and atlethic ability on his side and technical. If the match goes pass 6 rounds i cant see bellew get the win. but who knows boxing has the wierdest shit when it comes to judges.
