    Everyone are welcome to Kaptagat too.. almost every morning u meet Kipchoge and many more of NN team and Dr Rosa Nike elite gang too .. its more better roads in Kaptagat then Iten .. we have nice forest and car free roads😊 and quiet area

    someting offtopic: just watched the Hannover Marathon Footage from last weekend. at the women leading group was a bulky looking Australian runner (in comparison to the rest of the group) who tried to get some screen time 😉

    i'm prep for an half in about 6 weeks and i was looking for a good session, but man this is brutal..(basically not recovery) i'll give it a try though ahhaahha

    You should be doing the workout at paces that allow you to run the entire thing.

    What is that float pace between reps? Is it tempo or recovery pace? If i do reps at 3:45, should my float pace be around 4:20?

    I think something like +30s per km would be good like 4:15

    @@tmhstyle2865 thanks. Just a bit slower than my marathon pace. I could handle that. Hard workout, need to start with less repeats like 5 or 6 maybe :)

    I copied this training for 10k preparation and did 3x3km as 10km race pace with 1km float (40 sec slower). Was a good workout and took 2 days to recover so not too hard. So works also for shorter distances. For 21k then just slower speed and more reps

    As a running/ triathlon coach I have the idea that a lot of runners really dont have a good nutrition plan for their race nor their trainings.

    @@sweatelite Have you considered using one of those wireless clip-on microphones? There is a good chance that the breathing would ruin the recording, but maybe it worth a try.
