I'm Canadian actually from Toronto and the reason she let you go and then said that is because Canadians are passive aggressive.
My immediate thought would be, well, this is how my life as an involuntary illegal immigrant begins. How the hell do I get deported without getting a criminal record?

Joey should have went to the embassy to get an emergency travel passport, you can usually get one issued in 24 hours.

Vacuum seal bags are so good if you have to fly often. Especially in winter; squishes puffer jackets down to the size of a sock.

Love to hear some Canadian stories of us being inexplicably nice and hospitable to people. Really hits home of the stereotype that Canadians are nice which is something I can be greatly proud of. GOD BLESS THE LEAF!
