I'm watching at the end of 2022... lol

Unfortunately our beloved Joey passed away at the ripe age of 9 last week. Thank you to everybody who has left positive comments about him over the years, he was such a loved bird and everybody’s best friend. Please refrain from making any negative comments about him as it's not necessary to keep comparing him to other beautiful budgies on KZread. I uploaded this video to show overseas friends, and 6 years later he has over 800,000 views!! Thank you so much again, love from Joey’s family ❤️❤️❤️

Joey is gorgeous! And, of course, he's a great talker - congratulations on teaching him so well, which means an even bigger congrats for having such a great relationship. It's fun to hear different birds mimicking different humans' voices, too.

PlanetSmash some are done by female and some by male, but it depends on the voice. high and clear must the voice be

rem mer yeah he does, I have a Buggie and he will mostly have my tone when talking but when he says my name he sound alike my mother since it was my mother that taught that to him and he coughs like my grandfather 😂 but you can watch other videos on buggies where they sound like their care giver. 🙈

I had my bird less than a yr, not sure how old he is, my boys know, but he makes happy noises alllllll day, and poops everywhere

A budggie with an English or Australian accent! Not enough talking by the human lady to tell properly but I got the sense of British Received Pronunciation towards the end of the video! So cute!

I have had Budgies since I was a little girl I am 35 now and haven't had one for a long time, but my sweet babies may they RIP never were this smart and I am in tears saying that. Yep they can but it takes a long time for them to learn and the males are the only ones that ever do talk , the females are able to talk too but never seem do it trying to teach the females is so much more difficult and most of the time there's no success.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing.😢 It's funny that I named my budgie Joey!! Mine isn't talking as well as yours is but I did manage to teach him to say his name, pretty bird. I try to work with him daily to teach new words but he's stuck on the ones I've taught him.😅

Cream of the crop. Teach him 'Make a cup of tea'. He will say it to yr hearts content. Our Joey was gorgeous & learnt that so well, so easy to teach him. Is this budgie still alive & how long do they last. I miss ours.

AHH, just like my parakeet. Their voices sounds like they are an electronic operator, its really adorable!!!!

check out videos of Disco the parakeet! he beatboxes, says full sentences, sings, quotes Monty Python, etc. and all words are extremely clear. it is crazy!

I'm sorry for the passing of your Joey. I've just discovered him. He will live on, tho. Sadly, our sweet Disco passed in 2017. It's so hard to say goodbye to our furry and feathered friend's.
