Actually, they can! If the singular budgie has a good human companion that will notice and play with them, they will be perfectly fine. Although, it is better to have your budgie accompanied by another budgie.

@@shunyuo9942yes my timid new budgie was attacked a certain mirror, so I toke it out, seams afraid of other budgie, I toke her as she was being bullied by another 2 , she's so friendly ... slowly introduced another one it's wooden ... she's liking it and I'm watching her with it ... she's still coming to me , she was not jumping or moving around the cage much ... I play videos ect play with her , she flys nearly every day , she's still young and new , anyway I felt she needed more and this seams to be working ... she's chatting and jumping around the perches more, if the time comes I feel she can handle a friend then of course , it's different having one , I've always had 2 , I love her 😍 💕

My female budgie has been really unwell lately and I’ve been having to syringe feed her 5 times a day, and it has been so hard to do as it stresses her out, however when I put this video on she is stress free and makes the whole process so much easier, she literally runs to my phone to see him, and is actually having her med “she would normally just spit it out” and she is feeling so much better thanks to this guy!! Thank you for this

How is your little budgie, I hope she is getting better. Did the vet say what's wrong with her, what treatment is she having? I was given bird seed containing antibiotics for my birds if they were ever ill, what a surprise. I'm concerned about the short life budgies have these days, they lived to 14 or 15 when I had my first budgies in 1956. Mum's got her first budgie in 1954, his name was Tosh, he lived into his teens. Sending lots of get well vibes and prayers for your little bird. Love Bob, Jenny, and mum. xx

Buy another in a separate cage same room. Allow few days & let 1st bird out. Let it explore new cage & budgie from outside, if all well & they are speaking to each other then let 2nd bird out in its own time. Let them decide who's pad or seperate pads..

Next step, they're taking over your screen. I give mine my mobile to watch the video on. When they get excited talking to Derek, they tap the screen with their beak and the video goes off. I have to turn it back on for them. 😊 😊

Budgies are social. Always buy 2. One alone is not good for them.

You're right, mine will start chirping at the vacuum cleaner and other sounds. I've been luck to be able to watch budgies in the outback, the flocks fly for miles, they hardly stop. They are said to fly for up to 200 miles a day, hardly time to stop for a chatter. I was disappointed 😥as I expected them to stop once in a while, so I could chat, we get strange ideas about budgies when we see them in cages or flying round the sitting room. They are no more sociable than our sparrows, that fly around in small flocks, or swallows that gather into flocks before migrating. They meet to mate, bring up young and feed where food is plentiful, they love the tips from the branches of saltbushes. I'll get my 2 budgies a saltbush in a pot, attractive as an indoor plant.

This is by far the best budgie video to calm my little friend who’s lost his buddy last year 💕

Sadly I lost one of my two girls last night, so played this to the one left so she didn't feel alone until I got her a new friend. She is singing away to it as I type this. I am devaststed as I got the two of them after losing both my Mum & Dad, so meant all the more to me. Going to get another to put in cage next to her until they are used to each other, then will go in together. RIP STAR 😢💔

I have 4 budgies and they've been together for 3 months. Today 3 just attacked the one.... removed and alone in cage.... why would they do this?

I would like to crow...no pun intended.....about my budgie, he is grey and on first sight drab and unattractive....but hey what a joy and greatpal he is....spook is his name and he is a star in our home . We all love him dearly.

My new budgie was shy and a little afraid, but when I played this for her, she started coming out of her shell. She flew over to me and sat on my shoulder. She was rubbing beak on me and was tweeting her heart out.

I really wish it worked the same to me :') my little one is kinda like got trust issues lmao- i opened its cage and played this for him to get comfy, and i tried to make him get used to me by laying my hand inside its cage some few times, i guess it's still work in progress 🧍‍♀️

My cute little Pepper💓 likes it for a second😏 then go on to different eventures! + he Loves my ☎ & Wants lots of love from MaMa & pa he rules the house!!👍

My budgie is so happy with this video, he's even dancing and jumping around Update, he died. A plague in cat form took him from me not long after the original comment, still grieving If someone cares, whatever
