URGENT @ Ben, find book "Evidence that demands a verdict (newest edition), will enlighten you with proof of Jesus as God as well as everything that proves God, highly informative. Also, understanding the Holy Bible King James Version, youll see the rational consistency on all the prophesy, and most of these questions asked by Joe are easily figured out once you obtain that understanding, not to mention theyre all already answered. Its easy to see through everything thats going on. The nonbelievers and those whom are confused keep asking questions to things that are blatently obvious, the answers are there. It describes ALL that we are CURRENTLY seeing.

0:05: 🎙 Joe Rogan discusses his journey into podcasting, his background in martial arts, and the potential decline of MMA and sports due to brain injuries. 6:27: 🥊 Martial arts provides a controlled environment for young kids to learn technique and movement before the real consequences of sparring in their teenage years and beyond, and MMA appeals to the human desire for aggression and violence. 13:29: 😬 Joe Rogan discusses the controversy surrounding Roseanne Barr's tweets and her upcoming appearance on his podcast, highlighting her mental health issues and the need for understanding. 23:10: 🗣 The speaker discusses the influence of celebrities and the limitations of basing decisions on their opinions, using Kanye West and Donald Trump as examples. 26:42: 🗣 The speaker is encouraged by Trump's presidency because it has shown that the checks and balances in the system are working, and he believes that power should be decentralized and given to local and state governments. 32:22: 😂 Comedian discusses the backlash and outrage over jokes in today's politically correct climate. 39:23: 🤔 The speaker discusses the toxic tribalism and anger in today's political climate, where people are eager to stomp on each other's faces and engage in violence to shut down opposing opinions. 46:11: 🗣 The lack of communal institutions and shared values has led to the breakdown of tribalism and increased polarization in society. 52:02: 🗣 Joe Rogan discusses the importance of open dialogue, examining predetermined notions, and taking personal responsibility. 58:40: 😊 Joe Rogan discusses the appeal of uncensored conversations and the frustration of conforming communication in the workplace. Just imagine, there are people who disagree with BOTH of these guys. Isn't that crazy? It doesn’t matter what show you are watching, the host has an agenda and even when they say they want to hear what a guest has to say, there isn’t 5 minutes of genuine questions and listening before they host is pounding the guest with their own arguments. I am very encouraged to be a listener of your show and others like you who will engage in conversation where both parties are able to share and exchange complete thoughts and ideas. Thank you.

Once we get rid of Pence and Sessions, US will likely deschedule pot and leave it up to the states. Michigan's house is voting July to keep it off the ballot. It's one of those issues that will lose them votes if pro pot voters vote. Interestingly in the US, the old conservatives in this country are more likely to fulfill the civic duty of voting than the liberal counterpart.

Me you and others like us think for ourselves as well and why we are here. Don’t forget that brother . Unfortunately majority of folks who don’t think for themselves are those who believe people in power should help make their life’s better. Yet at the same time they think it’s unfair they have so much influence, power and money. It’s a big mind fuck.

The two of them together are an incredible bridge for conversations. So much respect and patience displayed. As a Christian and mom of two sons and two daughters (who also homeschools), I can listen to them discuss things forever and I have my own feelings too! When Ben says things like he can agree with Joe or that they agree on more than 50, 60, even 90% of things and respectfully differ on the rest, I could say the same. The things they disagree on, I have a third view because of Jesus, the Savior. But I admire these men even though we disagree on such a “big” issue- it’s a big personal issue, and should be forcefully big political one.

Ben.. this was a good move. You and I disagree on a lot of single issue but I will say you've earned my respect with open minded dialogue. As your colleague J. Peterson once said "open dialogue leads to consensus" I think many on both sides of the political spectrum want the same things but we are so ultra polarized by the media to hate one another, open dialogue like this becomes harder and harder to accomplish.

I think it's a bit of an assumption I'm not sure I'd grant you to say we all want the same things. Clearly, most people of all political slants don't want to hurt people, see people suffer, or get violent about what they believe. However, I think there are cases where sadly big segments of the population have different values entirely. It's not that there is no overlap with these people on specific things or even specific values, but people these days seem to have radically different values in regards to free speech, the role and scope of government, the rights of groups and individuals, the importance of individuals versus an individual's group identity/membership, etc. However, I think you did nail it when saying the media whips people up into a frenzy to hate each other; they have become as untrustworthy to me as the government in my view. Many people seem to be content to just settle into their camp and not talk to others outside of it, and it's not a good place to be.

At 57:00. Joe makes the excellent point that people don't know how to have real conversations. They just sit and wait for their time to talk so they can feel good about how well they delivered their line. This reminds me of something Jordan Peterson says. People don't really know how to think on their own. What you do in your head isn't real, constructive, critical thinking. It's mostly rationalizations of feelings. In order to really think, you need people to talk to. You have to project your ideas out into the world so the world can reflect them back to you. If you do that often enough, and with as large and diverse a group as possible, you are more likely to get back a relatively accurate image of your idea. That's the only way to meaningfully assess your ideas. It's like wanting to know what your face looks like and using a mirror. You have a face. It's always with you. You can feel it, touch it, and get a general idea of its proportions. But you can't know what it really looks like as a unified image, in full context, without looking into a mirror. That's what real conversations do for your ideas.
