As a person fighting similar issues and DID for over 20 some years, it's an honor to see Roseanne speak. I grew up loving her as a mom figure. Rosie, thank you for standing and talking. I also was called racial for standing against those faking mental illness, because I called out a African American women out for her lieing about having agoraphobia. It's been such a long fight and educate on my channel about DID. Like roseanne, I struggle and fight to keep going. But she gives me great strength to never give up. As a housewife and mother myself, she is such an inspiration to all. She deserves so much love and respect. 😊

Personal mental health is a very difficult topic to discuss because of the stigma attached to it. Also, to discuss details may lead to re-experiencing traumatic emotions. Joe showed a genuine, caring interest in her without judgement, even opening up a little about his past. That def helped with Roseanne opening up. I knew she had bipolar a long, long time ago, but never saw her provide so much detail. She does try so very hard to be a good person. Most people don't understand how challenging life can be living with a mental illness. I do admire her courage and perseverance.

Roseanne reminds me of my grandmother. She passed when I was 10. I don’t remember much other than I loved her and she was so good to all us grandkids. I couldn’t understand why everyone hated her. She was unapologetically herself and so is Roseanne.

What mainstream society did to her after her Valerie Jarrett tweet was unforgivable. Big deal she made an insensitive joke about her face. She tells it like it is whether you like it or not, is definitely a little eccentric but what a sweet and interesting lady. Even when I was less questioning of cancel culture in my little liberal silo back when that happened I still thought it was cruel and wrong how everyone turned on her.

ROSIE, seriously, I spent time in state hospital south in Blackfoot Idaho, my friend cut the tendons to her thumbs in her wrists with popsicle sticks. I have traumatic brain injury, and I'm left handed, left footed, as a side effect of my brain injury, I now am epileptic, and where they have pin pointed 1 of the kinds seizures i have now, they can see it starts in the right temporal lobe hippocampus, but there's not an aspect of my every fiber that's not been impacted by my experience in the state hospital, and if they'd looked for anything related to neuro issues I know my life would be very different, but big pharmas pockets would not be over flowing after paying doctors to put children to bed with benzos and wake them up with speed, then they're clueless as to what they want to call an epidemic of addicted people I believe is an extermination not an epidemic. Epidemic of greedy dbags I can't help but notice isn't an issue for the masses! It's disgusting.

I have family members who are mentally ill. One of my cousins can appear very normal in conversations with people and no one would ever guess she is schizophrenic, until she stops taking her meds and goes into psychosis. She is also a master manipulator and trouble maker. I have a sister who is schizophrenic, you can very much tell she is very ill. As much as anyone may like or love a person with mental illness, they are no walk in the park to deal with. They are very much in their own head and their own reality. I love Rosanne but she does seem very scattered and unaware of the effect that her illness has had in her career and her life.

I remember her from the 80s & early 90s. She was sharp as a tack. It looks to me like there’s been some cognitive decline, which you often see with people who are aging, & have had a TBI, &/ or improperly treated mental illnesses. Rosanne’s mental illnesses were the result of her TBI (traumatic brain injury), compounded by the abuse she suffered as an adolescent. I can only say, back during her heydays, I never saw any signs of racism or this other controversial stuff she’s been saying over recent years, but as I’m looking at her now, I can see it’s very possible this is the result of her mental decline.
