Micro dosing mushrooms responsibly for a short period have been proven to be more effective, efficient and healthier method for depression and anxiety, feeling lost, and/or lack of meaning/purpose in ones life; a couple weeks of use can last 6 to 12 months. No "medication" compares. Combine with a therapist is recommended as reprogramming our thought patterns and perceptions is a cornerstone to said issues.

@@marioeid930 that would be more useful for someone seeking spiritual growth and/or needing to get over and let go of an extreme traumatic event in ones life. All of natures plants ("drugs") should be respected, used appropriately and not abused. My oppinon on DMT would be to use under supervision by a professional, ie shaman, via ayahuasca. Avoid synthetic black market nonsense. Take a vacation to south/central america to an ayahuasca resort.

Joe is a coward. If he was rock solid he would have Trump on his podacst and not give a fuck what anyone says because he's made enough money to not be affected no matter what happens. He just passes as a pseudo intellectual because he occasionally invites a smart individual onto his podcast for a long form discussion about absolutely jack shit that is useful to everyday people. But people appreciate it because it's actually genuine conversation which I can appreciate. However, Joe does not have rock solid views because I can bet he voted liberal but moved to a conservative state in Texas because financially he is a republican.

That whole censorship- and risk of being CANCELLED type problem is caused by ICANN (International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). ICANN administers a censorship-clause in the contract it binds the renters of subdomains to. The clause is about agreeing to not have any CONTENT that might cause anyone to have certain negative FEELINGS and that ICANN can terminate the rental contract if they do have any such CONTENT. The clause essentially forces the TENANTS (gmail, yahoo, youtube etc) to enforce subjective dictator style censorship power over all account USERS (including bloggers, podcasters etc). The subdomain TENANT pays a huge amount in annual rent, must have a large cash capital in the bank and must be a large company to even be allowed to RENT a subdomain, so rhat contract forces the TENANT to protect its investment. That is WHY the TENANT (youtube is one such TENANT) PASSES ON the censorship clause to the ACCOUNT holders (holders of email-accounts, youtube-accounts, you name it. See? This is the CORPORATION-RUN subdomain TENANCY-market. THAT is HOW free speech is eliminated. ELIMINATE ICANN and voila, problem solved. When Lex questions whether negative media/online attention can "destroy you." I think he means it in the sense that it can destroy someone's psyche, or internal emotional well being. I don't think he just wonders about it taking a toll on your brand/business. If the former, then the best lesson to take from it all is that in just a few short months, everything just blows over and is mostly gone. I think the key lesson is simply to never overreact to the current BS being thrown at you. You don't even need mushrooms and workouts, per se. You just need to take a longer perspective on things than just a day or two. And know that everything just sort of runs its course, loses energy and dies down.

Great clip right here. Great wisdom for anyone with a platform or even anyone who finds themselves overvaluing the opinions of others. Biggest takeaway for me is utilizing intentional enduring (like hard workouts, cold/hot stress therapy) to create a threshold point of "toughness" so everything else is a relative pain to that. I admire both Lex and Joe.. they’ve both shown such a strength of character which I find inspiring.. especially when faced with such criticism. I think most people listening to this understand the idiocy that underlines cancel culture.. because of its inherent expectation that one should not nor is allowed to make mistakes.. which is dehumanising. Making mistakes is part of what makes us human, that’s how we grow and learn. So the crux of this is.. if we really want to move forward we need to be okay with making mistakes.. and we need to be tolerant with others making mistakes as well otherwise we are creating a toxic environment for ourselves and others

@Brian Daly You’re absolutely correct. I do my best to remind myself that the best way forward is to treat others the way we’d like to be treated. It can be tough at times.. but I guess this is one of those moments when our strength is being tested.

You are thinking about it to deeply, proponents of cancel culture don't actually care about anything other than gaining control and power, "cancel" is just one of their tools to silence and remove rational opposition.
Joe Rogan has the warrior spirit, facing the villains with bravery, and growing in morals as a result.

If he did he would just assert his right to say a damn word and tell the whiners to suck it. It’s just a word. Get over it burgers.
These two together are the best of podcasts
This also applies perfectly to what media you consume in general. There is always something horrible/exciting happening somewhere but you don't need to watch it and absorb it all. Like Joe said, the human brain has evolved in small groups. Naturally, there are always consequences when we stray from what our bodies and brains have evolved for.
This is why I LOVE Joe. Great guy
Joe is a great guy. He makes Alot of sense.
I knew of some problems during the move to spotify but when did he get canceled lately? Or do they mean general cancel culture?
I've never done shrooms but working out (be it weights, jogging, whatever) is essential for maintaining peace of mind. When more conflict or bad forces increase upon you; you have to become even more focused in your workouts and I've found getting some of that PT first thing in the morning is key.
I don't believe that Spotify would ever cancel Joe Rogan. He is their cash cow!

Why would they cancel such a great, informative, and successful show? Lmao
We love you Joe. You’re clearly a person of considerable substance and character who has worked hard at gaining maturity. It’s right that you’re at the head of this movement.

Only a Self Observant person could handle an unexpected crisis, without an emotional meltdown. I agree with Joe's statement of taking a mistake as an opportunity to grow from being in that stressful moment.
One of the best gifts Joe has given us is Lex.
This is incredible!

One thing I hate is when I hear people say, "you have such a big platform you have to be responsible in what you say". This is not right. People need to be more responsible and LISTEN
This hits home! Thanks for sharing this conversation! #PositiveShit
I have only reached 1 minute and 25 seconds and had to stop the video for laughing. Much respect Mr Rogan. If all adults micro-dosed mushrooms what a different world this would be
This is so meaningful to me . I am looking for that inner strength
I always felt when i watched Joe Rogan interview people on his channel, it was a genuine, authentic experience. i guess the mainstream media really hate that.
Lex both yourself and Joe inspire me more than you will ever realise, Thank you.
Joe Rogan and Dave Chappelle are two beasts! This cancel generation can't touch them.
One thing to understand is that is not majority but those that disagree are always more vocal. Always compare the number of attackers to number of subs.
We can get through this with kindness and love.
It’s probably why every 13-25 yr old is depressed, or suicidal, or can’t take even an iota of criticism…they literally absorb and take seriously everything they read on social media.

When you’re constantly observing others and not living your own life, it’s easy to lose your center. This is one of the many major dangers of smart phone and social media addiction.

Everyone wants the opportunity to be invited to JRE even if people say they don’t want to be. When Joe and Lex are together, ya know it’s gonna be a good conversation.
Great discussion, thanks Lex. There's a lot of wisdom in Joe's take on how to deal with negativity and criticism. Especially the part whereexplains why he doesn't read the criticism, which mostly comes from a mix of biased people and people he doesn't know. Great advice for the rest of us to follow.

THIS (ICANN and its very existence) is the internet problem we need to address.

Joe’s reaction to getting canceled was to take mushrooms and workout!!! I love it F’em
Lex you also have to know there is way more LOVE for Joe then anything as he has shown to stand for TRUTH. That in itself cannot be bought and is a priceless character everyone wants to be associated with.

Now that's Joe being real. Being clear, transparent with no pretense. Being human like Joe is super.
So Joe Rogan had Dr Michael Osterholm on his podcast 03/20. He had another woman doctor who talked about the phillipines and how the main deaths (85per cent) were deficient in vitamin D. So in July 2020, I tested positive asymptomatic. I almost got fired from my job where I have a pension. I was able to talk to my bosses in a rational manner to keep my stupid meaningless job that I make better than medical professionals at. Joe Rogan has at least one hardcore friend here.

So I am saying Joe Rogan, Ride or die Birch. I am a hardcore Ally. I personally will not go away.
People often confuse freedom of choice with freedom from consequence. We are free to choose but we are not free from consequence. Inform yourself with consequence as best you can then choose. Attitudes, laws, societal and individual beliefs have always been transient. If your intention is to be kind, honest and helpful in your words and actions you will feel free regardless of the changes or consequences because you will be who you want to be without intentionally causing harm to others ( if this is who you choose and want to be).Take careful consideration in your words and motives and you can then really feel free to express your whole views with less fear of consequence. Take care
Once upon a time, I entirely enjoyed Joe's podcast. However, due to a heavy dose of hubris and hyperbole, which crept in, understandably so (I noticed- after huge contract from Spotify). I was no longer a fan. After listening to this clip "the thinking mind" is the drunk monkey that perpetuates fear, confusion and self doubt. Amazing answer and process: " I took mushrooms" 🍄. Corporate media or any other media outlet, couldn't take Joe down. Nonetheless, Joe truly transcends/ understands his own nature, intuition and spirituality through micro dosing. Kudos to Joe, well done👏👏👏
I agree with Joe on The Mushroom's. I opt for 4-5 grams every 3 months. Some do it once and never need it again.
