It kind of reminded me of every lazy person I've ever spoken to about training. Saying stuff like 'I don't have the time' etc. You MAKE the time, and the benefits far outweigh the cost in time spent. It only seems time-consuming to people used to sitting around doing nothing or pleasuring themselves. Chasing pleasure causes you to become jaded because the brain starts shutting down pleasure-receptors. Exposing yourself to pain, whether it's training or cold plunges, or even whipping yourself like the old religious cults, causes a burst of pleasure neuro-transmitters after the pain is over, without down-regulating the brain. (don't whip yourself - that's not smart)

The deadpan way Sebastian says it.. Joe didn’t let this episode be funny for some reason
Sebastian is one of the most naturally funny comedians out there. Just having a regular conversation is like a long bit. Him and Mark Normand are among the best at that.

Sebastian is pure comic genius! One of the few comedians who has me laughing out loud in the first 3 minutes of anything he does. He used to do these segments during the covid lockdown with his wife that were hilarious! Thank you for having him on!
Joe and Sebastian are both comedians. So how much of this conversation is going to end up in their next show. There's a lot of content here. " Spray magnesium for your feet" 😂👣

I saw Sebastian with family at helium philly in 2013/14. Set was amazing! He's always been my dad's favorite and we met him, got a picture and at the time he signed a CD of his album for him and talked for 5 mins or so. Hes legit a great dude. It's crazy seeing his rise from then to now but we'll deserved 👏
I enjoyed this podcast. Loved getting to know Sebastian. Fun. Wish he was my neighbor.
I got a little secret. 🤫 this podcast is dam near a free 2hour comedy show w/Sebastian. Enjoy.😉

This man makes me laugh just by the way he lives his life, like he's not living with human beings on earth 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Joe: Everyone needs to just be healthy. Also Joe: takes $2,000 worth of vitamins a month, spends $4,000 on in-home NAD+ and glutathione infusions, spends 1hr each day in front of an infrared light, spends another hour in his deluxe in-home sauana and the best cold-plunge money can buy, spends $1,000/month on TRT and testosterone monitoring, gets his blood and urine checked bi-weekly for every exotic lab test known to man, visits the best A-list celebrity private-pay-only doctors 1x/month, spends another 20k/year on anti-aging therapies and stem cells. If we all just "took care of our health" we'd all be in the same situation Joe is in, a picture perfect model of health and wellness! Anyone else seeing a problem here?

@joseph7105 Me too. Covid wasn't the point. The point was about his absolutely delusional picture of what health and wellness looks like for working class folk. Whoosh. ^the sound of the point going right over your head

-working class folk here, never tested never vaxxed with that one. Same for my kids. Technically Below poverty level. Doing fine. Dont know if it was regular sick or rona dont really give a f either. Edit you absolutely have a point at what he has access to however. I recover with Nyquil, and he has the entire pharmacy
@chutcentral
24 күн бұрын
@ScotteM Edited my original comment because the point wasn't about rona. It was about his absolutely delusional picture of health that is only attainable for multimillionaires who have the money and free time to dump into all that shit. That said, the ancestral strain of rona was quite bad for many people though. If you caught rona in early 2020, it was an entirely different situation than catching it later on. And telling people to just "take care of their health" and they'll be alright, while you're spending 10k/month on preventive health treatments is completely detached from reality.

I adore Sebastian! I talk like him , and it’s scaring me! I. Use his jokes every day! I mention his name on a daily basis! ‘You don’t know Sebastian really?’ Let me tell you!
Omg JOE , you literally nailed it on the fucking head when you said that all you need is just enough money to go out and eat and not worry about the price I can personally say that I’ve had a lot of money and I’ve had almost broke and I’ll tell you I always said after the fact that you know what now that I’ve actually been on both ends of the scale, I think the best thing about having a lot of money was being able to go out to eat and not worry about the price or buy gas and not care fill the tank up every single time those two things are the most best parts and you just said that I can’t believe it took the words right out of my mouth
