Why did you leave the UFC? "Because I wanted to explore other options." Aka "I wanted to be promoted more, I wasn't appreciated by the UFC, I wasn't paid more because my division wasn't eye catching." And you know what....he's dead right. What a shame. This man is a pure gold MMA fighter.

I honestly disagree with you when u bring up the UFC not promoting him. The UFC had him headline cards n even made an Ultimate Fighter show that was literally centered around DJ with the winner fighting him for the belt which never happened before on the show. The UFC does drop the ball on occasions but it's not their fault the fickle mma fans weren't buying his PPVs n literally walking out of the arena during his fights. DJ was also ranked #1 p4p at the time.

Daniel Casey I appreciate these guys believing in themselves but idc how great you are, in a sport that’s a business you gotta be able to bring in people to watch you. You can’t ask for more money than you bring in. That’s bad for business if the ufc just gave everybody what they wanted if that fighter doesn’t have a big fanbase

I love Mighty Mouse but the UFC wanted him to do what Henry Cejudo did. Cejudo was Ko’d by MM and arguably won a split decision, never defended the flyweight belt, went up and fought for 135, won the championship and defended. In a whopping 3 fights, Cejudo’s resume is more impressive despite the accomplishments of MM. MM should return to UFC and compete at 135
