He's always been cool, casual, doesn't use sh%t-talking and trolling or WWE antics, doesn't bad mouth families and people, very articulate and highly intelligent. I like guys like Chael, Colby, the Diaz Brothers, etc. too, but it doesn't mean that I can't like something different than that. Great content joe keep it up 🔥
DJ still in my G.O.A.T list. He had done so many things for the sport of MMA, but he still ignored by the casual fans and Dana. In the 2nd fight with Adriano; he proved he is the GOAT
I understand exactly what he means, when my sister passed it’s like I lost track of time. It didn’t feel relevant to me anymore, just the concept of life in its entirety mattered to me and how I spend my life living it
So relatable. When you laughing you forget all your problems anyway. Who cares if the situations perfect, it doesn't have to be.
I fucking love this dude 😂 not only is he one of the most underrated ufc fighter his yt is actually really entertaining
What impressive insight to share and so inspiring to hear the progress someone can make even at his age and after achieving so much. Perfectionism can be so helpful but so destructive too and it’s a good message to be aware of that.
I love DJ - he earned his spot as being in the conversation of 🐐
Mighty mouse is one of the best MMA fighters of all time!!
A true legend. 🙌🏼👏🏼🔥
Demetrius - given me the most entertainment & appreciation for Martial ARTS in action - Thank you!! Cheers from Seattle 🍻
love dj always genuine
needed to hear that today
He will never get the credit he deserves because he was a flyweight. He's one of the most talented martial artists of all time
What a gentleman, scholar and absolute beast of an athlete who is truly a ferocious, terrifying fighter.
Demetrious Johnson was always my favorite fighter
I can listen to DJ all day, he makes so much sense, massive respect!
My deepest condolences on your loss 💐
Glad we got this
I love this dude. MMA legend.
I love this guy pound for pound and that ain't much he's probably best fighter ever. He's so down to earth here, he just doesn't seem like a pro fighter. And that attitude will calm his life as I am sure he found out. Great clip.
Thank u for bringing this perspective forward mighty mouse!
100% needed to hear this. Self-induced pressure seems to be destroying lives left and right, mine included.
Awesome convos The reason I like watching JRE
Glad one of the GOATS can enjoy themselves
I needed this
As someone once said, no one has ever been on their deathbed wishing they’d worked more. Demetrious is amazing both inside and outside the cage.
So true. So many people chase this dream and rather give up or they don't appreciate each day and the present. We all will die, do what makes you happy and enjoy life
Amazing fighter. One of the best ever in my opinion. Also, seems like a super nice guy.
I went through a similar Awakening when my sister died. There is something about losing a loved one that was far too young that makes you realize what is truly important in life.
DJ is one of my all-time favorite fighters - not just for his accomplishments and entertaining fights, but also as a person. I'm happy for him that he's continuing to have success in MMA and life.
Love seeing this growth and shift in him and within his mentality.
With age comes wisdom. Sorry for the lose of your sister man.
Respect brother 💪🙂👍 You are on your way to enlightenment
Trying to be perfect is attempting to focus on everything. Better to focus on what matters for the goal. Love this.
It was a great story, good he is sharing this.
great interview
A Legend to the sport of MMA. GOATED
The absolute GOAT.
DJ is the GOAT of MMA and the more he’s still accomplishing the less people are able to deny it
What a great dude!
Such a humble champion 👊
It’s called “Growth”. Sometimes it takes a person a lifetime to almost grow and others bloom earlier. The hope is that regardless of when it happens, we should all want to Grow. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that we have changed for the better. We are all gonna die at some point and hopefully in the course of our lives, we grow. I’m wishing Everyone Growth, Happiness and a Full Life.
Self-reflection can be life changing. Good for Mighty Mouse.
It's good that DJ is letting the steam off. The pressure was good when he was younger. It made him the GOAT. Now that he's older he gets to reap to fruits of his labor and do the things he loves.
Man I got to watch this fight live in Singapore, amazing performance by DJ!
Get ye on ❤
Amazing episode
One in-touch, smart human being right there.
DJ is the goat. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
my all time favorite fighter
Oh man..miss those 1 plus hour podcasts!
what a comeback that was wow
Glad to see him taking some time to enjoy himself. He is a legend, would love to see him back in the UFC

Sorry for your loss dj
DJ one of the BEST EVER,EVERRRRR!!!
“ Happiness is perceiving and dealing with reality on reality’s terms“ Basically the attitude of every day can suck and I’m OK with that because it won’t affect me at my core
Dude is a goat and when he is done fighting he can easily have a career streaming on Twitch. He already has a large fanbase on his Twitch channel already.
Let's F-kin Go. Diving in right now
My favorite fighter ever 👍🏻
Let go of being perfect, and created the most perfect ko in history next to Barbosa spinning head kick. Masterful!
The greatest might mouse move I've ever seen him do was that rotating door slip he did when joseph benevidez (sorry if i misspelled his name). Its like he saw the punch coming and just turned sideways, the punch missed and he immediately threw a jab in return. It was great, joe during the match refered to it as a rotating door lol
He is a legendary fighter that commands the respect of all colleagues and fans, as well as a class act. If you disagree with any of that you're bonkers.
Ive personally engaged with Mighty mouse on his channel several times. He is truly a good dude and about as normal as one could be given the heights he's reached. To me, he's the GOAT
Respect to Mighty Mouse! Family first!!!
