Releasing DJ and nearly closing the division was the 2nd dumbest move Dana Pink has ever made, 1st being not rotating commissions for Nick Diaz's weed charge like he's done for Jon Jones and Conor McNuggets. Never even lost in many people's opinions. He clearly landed more damage than Cejudo, who basically only tried to stall DJ and hold him down without much damage. Hardly much of a loss when he pieced him up on the feet.

The new ruby system is honestly better. Now Usman got his belt with all the rubies rather than 6 belts

True to an extent, but the new belts in general look lame af compared to the old ones. Also, there is still something more epic about tonnes of belts over some ruby's you can barely see. His 16 belt pic is iconic. No Champ has a pic like that with the new belt that so perfectly encapsulates a historic title run.
