Yea and DC has been in that number two spot ALOT throughout his life. Working super hard and getting to HUGE matches and just always falling a little bit short. It’s heart breaking because he is a good dude and he is an incredible fighter. His size had been criticized in his early days so, for him to get to the places he’s been in is proof that he ain’t a slouch. It’s just sad he came up short(no pun intended) in those matches.

Joe should never have interviewed a man who just lost a fight Joe is not a true friend bcoz a true friend should never place you in a compromising position. In the clip I saw them laughing... that was Joe just playing him. Avoid such friends. They make you trust them only to put you in tricky situations later

Because even without a knockout if you eat dozens of bad shots, you don't necessarily know wtf you're saying. Even Kamaru Usman told in podcast that even if he did an interview in the ring after he got knocked out, he does not remember anything about it. It's total blackout from the knockout to the hospital. You should NEVER even attempt to interview those fighters.

Dude this was always personal coz Cormier always was jelous about Jon always talk about his behaviour outside ring always suprised why ppl like more a bad boy than a good father and nice person. Most time talk him he is shit person trash drug user , weed smoker etc .Im imagine that Bones was mad at him for that coz Daniel was Jones number 1 hater and rival but the truth was always one Jon was a better fighter than him and Jones knows that well. That fight was a peak of that and if rember right Jon went for it after weekend party and completly maul and destroy him, he was standing and cry like a baby when Rogan went to him with that questions making him moron more and ppl laugh about that yelling Jons name blowed away by that performance 😀

I agree with your hindsight. I believe most probably were shocked by your insensitive interview. However it does give everyone an in-depth look at fighters and the things they go through. To me it actually made me respect Daniel ten-fold. Also this amount of stress and trauma shows that even the most popular fighters are under paid and under-appreciated.❤🎉❤🎉

Yes the athletes are paid well but not in comparison to the value they bring or the amount of money owners are making. That is how they are “under paid”

Internal dialogue is often the loudest

I felt horrible for DC when he cried on PPV... I legit felt bad for him, I liked D... But after listing to him commentate for the past few years, I kind of wish Jon would make DC cry again...

He interviewed McGregor, but McGregor WANTED to talk, and was clearly too hyped up on adrenaline to feel the pain. He also didn't get knocked out like DC did, so there's not that same worry for his cognitive function.

Cormier is such a dad. He may have lost the fight but he won my heart. He's not the best fighter but he's the best man out of the 2.

Cormeir and Rogan both have integrity. Daniel is funny, hard working, and gives back to the community on a PERSONAL day to day basis, working with kids. Good people, and I think the commentary, Joe and Daniel put together is the best in the business!

He didn't hate Daniel, he hated the things Daniel was saying...

Joe: "I shouldn't have interviewed him" Dana: "Get back to fcking work"

I think, honestly Joe just wanted to go to his friend in that moment. He probably didn't even think about it, but the context of the situation is what made him feel bad afterwards.
