Joe did a phenomenal performance of Help at Woodstock in 1969. And here is 44 years later and he's better than ever. The following year in December of 2014, Joe departed for the Big Show in the Sky. Thank you, Joe, for the incredible legacy you blessed us with!

There will not be another Joe Cocker in my lifetime, thank you Joe. What a powerful performance, the band and the vocals were exceptional. ❤

Music made these days will never arouse emotions like music from this era. And very little music made these days will still be around fifty years later. Weren’t we a lucky bunch to have lived through it all?!

Took me a few minutes to share my feelings here. Another hero gone. Joe made simple Beatles songs sound horrifying beautiful. Thank you man for being a part of my life and I will never forget till I die myself. In the meantime I will make sure to save your albums and play them till they also go to ashes. Love to you and rest in peace.

Joe Cocker. He was simply an original. He made a few Beatles songs his own. This version is just utterly amazing. I have listened to him for so long and never get tired of listening to his songs. RIP my friend.....RIP........ We will miss you.

He’s one of the greatest singers in the world. I love his voice and style. He puts his whole heart and soul into his music. As he aged, he never missed a beat. Much love! ❤

Joe at his best. What a lovely man and a lovely band. Only Joe could produce that raspy vocal that we all loved.

What makes a legend? Being 69 at the time of this recording and still being able to hit the high notes. RIP!

A very long time ago I was in a pub one Saturday night in Rotherham UK called The Dickens and there was a band on stage called Micky's Monkeys and they had this song in their set and to everybody's surprise Joe walked in sat with us having a beer then got up on stage and did the song with the band and it was fantastic. He is a Sheffield lad and he never forgot his home town.

Yes! Passionate is the key word. There are many many amazing professional musicians that can't transmit their passion to an audience. Joe is the exact opposite!

Even though Joe is now singing with the Angels you would have a hard time telling the band he has here from the all eternal ones RIP Joe Cocker and thanks for the music.

The great Joe Cocker. I saw him twice, once near the beginning and once 30 years later. His was the first music cassette I bought. I believe him to be the greatest white blues singer of all time.

I'm a huge beatles fan, and this is the first time I ever hear Joe Cockers version! I'm almost ashamed to say I've never heard of this man before, and it took all but 30 seconds before my eyes watered up from this version. I'm amased, for me this is the only beatles song that has ever been improved by another artist, and I'm truly impressed! Rest in Peace, and I promise I will make shure to discover more of your music.

One of the best Hammond Organ player R:I:P Joe Cocker. I heard you in Vienna 1978. Amazing singer. Hope you will meet other musicians like Janis Joplin and all good musicians died to early. Love you since i saw you in Vienna. Joe Cocker not wrote his songs. But his Convert during Woodstock was amazing and made all people very happy Joe was singing on the last day of the Festival 1968? not sure.

It was Joe Cocker doing songs like “A Little Help From my Friends” that made their music accessible for guys like me. For that I am grateful. Thanks Joe. Rest In Peace.
