Why would they give a Grammy to a real class act such as JB and the Three Kings Blues Band? There's no swearing, B or N words, promotion of booze, drugs, loose sex. The purer and cleaner artistry is the more it isn't awarded. Totally sucks Joe, Mahalia, Jade and Juanita were on fire here and it is really great. Only real people can respect pure artistry seeing and hearing it at a concert like this. I'd strap today's young people to chairs and tell them listen to some real music instead of the cookie cutter garbage you are brain washed with.

@@gordonmodel94jr.39 the Great Louis Jordan wrote this way back in 1946 They used to call this ‘Jump Blues’. And the hot back up singer is Mahalia Barnes, daughter of Aussie great Jimmy Barnes 👊 check out some of the stuff he does with Joe 👌

Joe doesn’t miss a lick. He’s perfection personified

👏 and a seemingly enjoyable 🤩 performance by ALL! I’m 70ish now, and have been a big enthusiast of Joe’s 🎸 🎤 for years. He’s generally not what I’d consider as being very emotive (sorta reminds me of Clapton too), but he’s really into THIS one - and it was contagious. I stopped what I was doing, got up, dancing around my house - AND without falling or tripping - lol 😆 !

I don't ever think he has played as good as he did on this song...he absolutely crushed it

At 82 just close your eyes and listen, still love me some blues.

All 3 singers, Mahalia, Jade and Juanita are all class A singers on their own and to be with JB and the rest of the crew including Reese Wynans is a home run that leaves the stadium and hits the hot dog cart in the back alley of the park! I'd love to have a lunch date with Jade and learn more about her career and influences.

its really good, but saying its the " greatest guitar performance of all time" is a bit of an overstatement, for instance BB King at the Regal is amazing, as are hundreds of other shows, you could only make that statement if you've seen every single guitar performance that has ever occurred , if you have, then lucky you 🙂

Spot on. True artistry never gets awarded and it really sucks because this concert is one of the greatest ever recorded. Another favourite of mine is Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night" but for pure energy and sound this is next level in comparison. Roy will still be cherished, but Joe and crew are a wrecking ball of perfection here.

If you watch the movie The Blues Brothers movie. There's a scene where Jake & Elwood end up in Elwood's apt.( Which is right next to the train tracks. Anyway, when Elwood puts a record on, and the song that's playing is this one. THE SAME SONG only somewhat slower for that time period. I was watching the movie and I heard this song, I thought Holy 💩💩, this is the song that Joe plays. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍, thanks Mr. Bonnamossa.

Sweet, sensitive, petite, vulnerable and heart-wrenching pretty.

I took my wife to see Joe at the Warfield theater in San Francisco a couple years ago. She had never even really heard of him before. It was so much fun just seeing her reaction.

Seen Joe at Fiddlers Green in Denver. He played first( had long hair) Robert Cray Kenny Wayne Sheppard and the Great BB King batted clean up. Friggin awesome concertt

Search "perfection" and you will be sent to this video. Wow! and due largely to the always excellent drumming of Anton Figg (The CBS Late Night Orchestra). BUT, why do they have to put an ad for something else right over the screen as Bonamassa is doing his most elaborate playing?!?!?

Awesome shit! I have promoted Louis Jordan my whole adult life, usually I get the response of.....who? Yeah, man...........!

Joe’s vocals are getting better and better. His guitar playing is always grade A.

For anyone wondering, the Three Kings referenced in the vocals (of the Blues) were Albert King, B.B. King, and Freddie King.

I have seen Joe live twice,..and I can tell you the energy in the crowd is like nothing I have ever seen. I do have to admit, I did see him get booed once. He said that he was a guitar player and not much of a singer, and the crowd booed in disapproval of that statement. I will definitely see him again when I get the chance.
