I'm an non-retired 70 year old drummer, sir. Rockin' performance at The Greek!
We absolutely need these guys to keep the blues going. Who else is going to do it. Great tribute to the great freddie king.
Freddy King is smiling in heaven. Best rendition I ever heard; makes me wonder if that isn't Freddy's original guitar. Smokin' Joe with another barn burner. Backup singers are amazing.
At 72 years old he has just rocked my ASS off!!
It's kick ass rock music, young people. They actually played instruments and made their own sounds. No fake nonthin. Ask grandpa.
Damn! Anton Fig and Michael Rhodes were puttin' it down on this track! R.I.P Mr. Rhodes, man are you missed brother.

As usual an extraordinary performance with an extraordinary guitar solo...I enjoy Joe's music any time., any moment of my life...In sad and joy moments..irrespectively..

He’s at his best when he’s got the whole band rockin with him.

This is my favorite thing about Joe. He’s such a badass but seems like such a humble guy. You are correct, this is rare and what a treat to see.
Most folks have no idea......a lot of musical talent came out of the upstate and central NY area. I use to love to play with the local talent when I was back home.....great love of music. JB was a Utica boy .......
There’s a handful of performances on KZread that knock my damn socks off every time I see it and this is definitely one of them. Reese Wynans my god.
I’m smiling, everyone on stage is smiling. Perfect!!!
This is why Double Trouble was the most underrated band of their day and the fact that Joe has this cat playing with him is a tribute to just how phenomenal he truly is!!!!!! SWEET JESUS!!!!!!

Reese Wynan made the band the “band of the century”! The last video that I saw of Joe’s didn’t have any of the members that complimented who Joe was and what he wnated to express in his playing. I’ve got tickets for November, I just hope hw has that band including Reese! I may be disappointed if he doesn’t!! Joe, don’t mess with what ain’t broken!!!! Please!!!

@@vincentwhitley1119 Think I should have done that at the time. I never get tired of hearing SRV. He was the real deal Vincent. Apparently he going to come and play with Eric at the RAH in the Winter of 1991 for The Blues nights . The really sad thing about it all was he was in a happy place in his life when he got killed. He was playing sublime, was going to get married again, and he was sober. Fate denied us the next step of his greatness.
great live recording, all session men and women. nice to see joe shake his tailfeathers while blistering thru solos. afforded by a superbly competent team. love it. Classic... xxx

Reese Wynans crushing it as usual. Saw him with SRV in1989, Bonnie Raiitt at Red Rocks, and Joe B a bunch. Best blues keyboard player alive.
Reese is and always has been powerfully amazing.
THAT would be worth the price of admission, right there.
The best part of this video of Joe and his band is that they all have learned how to dress. From the days with John Lee Hooker and B B King Joe was very professional about his attire. If you want to be classy then dress that way. This video as well as all of Joes other videos are all class acts. He has learned to dress as the greats did. Even the dancers behind Joe are very beautiful. I enjoyed this video because its not just an act ,,,IT IS A CLASS ACT!!!

Hands down . . . The Hammond B3 organ adds soul and a backbone to that ensemble.
Wynan's so good he even made SRV & Double Trouble better when he joined.
Joe's tearing up the guitar, ..but the volume of power coming from that rhythm section is impressive too! I'll bet the live sound is incredible!
I listen to this mega toe-tapper at least once each week. Usually to get a glimpse of Jade McCrae dancing. (Sigh...). I used to fast forward through Reese Wynan's intro, but I've come to appreciate his keyboard mastery as much as Joe's blistering gui-tar work. This might be the best produced song I've ever enjoyed !
