My youngest brother died in a car accident 2 1/2 years ago. Just before he died, he told me about Joe and he wanted me to hear him, how great he was. I found this song and many more. He is so good and every time i listen to this song i think about my brother R.I.P John.

My wife, Debbie passed away last year. She had a year between bouts of chemo where she was “cancer-free”and after going out to dinner, I would suggest we go on a “supertramp”! That was code for taking the long way home!! We’d go all over the place and just drive. This song reminds me of those times that I will always cherish until I see her again in heaven!!

Go easy on yourself, cry when you must and try to focus on all of the beautiful memories you shared with your late husband (in time, it will also get easier to say those words without crying, I promise). I know he is where he always wanted to be, moving very fast, experiencing immeasurable joy ☆ I walk, and as I walk I release the grief so that I don't tie hold him to this 3D. We had a very deep & ancient soul bond. He didn't want to leave me alone, but his body gave out. So, I talk to him on my walks, & thank him for loving me so much, then I tell him I'm ok, and I'll see him again and I encourage him to go as fast as he can go. A mothers love for her children is an experience I'm honored to have been gifted in this life. I've decided that I want to live to be 100-120 years old so that I can see & help my daughter & ganddaughters navigate through the next changes coming to our planet. I am a follower of Jesus Christ. So was my son. May your life be full of experiences & asventures that ready you for your eternal journey. ✌️💓

There is absolutely no doubt that this is the best ever. Robin Trower, Jimmy Page, Toni Imoni, Alex Lifeson, name anyone. Even his mentor BB Kijng . This man makes it look so easy. I love Keith Richard's. Absolutely the best band ever. Nobody will ever touch the Rolling Stones. There is only one Joe. I'm just grateful to have seen him live a few times. I'm sorry nothing compares. And I don't believe anyone ever will.

I agree with gerardmurphy, the two drummers is kick ass, especially when the second drummer comes in and the whole song goes up several notches. And never underestimate the power of oooooohs behind a lead vocal. These women are so good and add so much to the songs whole tasty vibe. Three minor chords. Oh yeah.

The arrangement and the musicianship of the whole band really take Joe’s talents to a new level.

I work as a Compliance Officer dealing with the Gov't 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. Every Friday night or Saturday if it was a rainy Friday my wife and I take a 1-2 drive in the New England countryside. I play this song 3 straight times to start the ride so I can calm down and enjoy my wife's company without complaining about work. The song brings so much peace and calmness to my life I can't thank you enough

When Anton,and Bogey Wells played in the band together, talk about Awesome. The lady singers, I think are from Australia, the horns? Then you have Reece Wyans. Yes Sir,one Perfect band, well they were, Anton no longer travels,Bogey either,and I think all but one of the singers are gone. There's still Joe,and Reece,and they still jam.

So you use 3, 4, 5,6, 7 drummers for a tacky video? If it works, that is what matters. Too bad more music isn't played by more of them. Whatever. I don't think this tape is all that incredible. It's monotonous and depressing. Maybe it's difficult to play. I don't think so. In this arrangement, if it does strain him to play it, it is also tough for me to listen to. It feels low and seedy no matter how great the performance is, you know? The piece probably builds and gets more convoluted. If it doesn't, please do a more traditional, classical piece written for guitar. This one is great, but it makes me nauseous.

I lost my only daughter in 2005. We lived together when she had her first daughter. We would just drive sometimes. We drove around neighborhoods just looking at the houses available for sale and for rent. We also drove around county roads just for the heck of it. Although it's been so many years since I lost her, I still miss those times just driving around !!

This is a gem you never play just once. Those drums, minor cords, backup singers and of course Joe, make this a repeat, over and over and over!!!! I think of friends of mine, gone and they probably never heard this while here. But I suspect heaven rocks with Drive playing as well!!!

Well, first off, there are the drums. A great concept, the double drumming, and it's recorded so they are right up front. What a wonderful effect! This is the kind of song, for that alone, that you could just play over and over. Then there's the minor key, the acoustic strumming and the understated lead, Joe's good voice! Yes! The whispering organ. And the three backup singers and just absolutely so perfect that this song goes to the new level.

Just listened to this because it was on a new friends Facebook page and decided to give it a listen. I loved it instantly! I cannot believe I have not heard of Joe Bonamassa before. Great guitar, vocals, backing and whole band - so tight. Cant stop playing it!

@@alexsandrivanov9888 , я этот ролик три года назад скачал. Сколько раз слушал в разных вариациях и в разных концертах уже и не помню:)) Из нынешних блюзменов Джо Бонамасса, конечно же номер один! Уникальный музыкант. У него даже паузы звучат.

@@user-ii6gz6ch8d Абсолютно с Вами согласен. Впервые познакомившись с творчеством этого Большого Мастера в 2004 году, не прекращаю следить за его творчеством и получать огромное наслаждение. Но известность он получил благодаря сыгранному им концерту в Альберт-Холл, кажись в 2009 с помощью Эрика Клэптона. Эту версию своей известности Бонамасса подтвердил в одном из своих игтервью. Поищите тот концерт - там еще два барабанщика играют - СУПЕР!

Он просто не вероятный музыкант !!! 👍👍👍 Drive наверно раз 10 в год слушаю под настроение с джин-тоником в правильном составе постоянно! Цепляет до глубины души! Хотя у него много и др.прекрасных вещей.😉
