If you watch his very strong and deliberative vibrato that goes horizontal as well as the more typically vertical, it's as expressive as it is technically pure.

I’ve listened to the greatest but this guy is the Mount Everest of them all. Joe makes the guitar sing. Please listen to Joe play with Warren Haynes in the King of Blues 2011. Dueling blues guitars in this video is truly the best!

Joe has the cleanest licks as any blues player alive today! Juanita, Jade and Mahalia are blues angels!

New generation, old generation style . His blues hit the mark I'm 63 and I have listened to blues and rock mu whole life , I just love how that flying v growls when he slides.

The play between Joe and the "Angels" in the final moments of this song is epic! HIgh register with Joe at the wheel, and those angelic voices, what a combination. The new release, Redemption showcases these angelic voices well!

Joe B is Mr. Blooze and he is keeping it alive 🍷☮️🎸🇺🇸🌟

Having Kirk Fletcher as a backing, rhythm guitarist is surely a luxury!

Joe Bonamassa is not just a god of guitar ,he can sing as well.

JB isn't even close to Warren Haynes & Gov't Mule when it comes to soul. Sometimes to many notes can just ruin a song, plus Joe has nowhere near the voice that Warren or SRV had for the Blues. JMO.

My father is 62 years old and he played this on a 12 string at a cook out today and I've never been so proud of my pop,, I'm 13 and he freaked people out with this song he had old woman tapping there toes lol

Damn that's good. They are all at the top of the game.

The horn section & my personal favourite, Reese Wynans on keys, really puts the polish on this. Have a listen to the horns punching the groove through Joes solo's. Fuckin fantastic.

I agree, but don't forget about Edward Van Halen in that list of the greatest blues players ever. Eddie has always had incredible blues licks, often as the bedrock for his rhythm guitar. Joe is phenomenal, and the future of the blues lies heavily on Joe's shoulders!

Got this on the DVR from PBS, made a donation, awesome, awesome, awesome. Bought tickets for the upcoming show in Milwaukee. Will be only my 3rd Joe Show, but I'm thinking it'll be even better yet. Just amazing.
